I think they declared the house purchase as an asset of their poultry business so the Indian authorities saw this as a tax dodge.

A chunk of the £5 million may have to go to the Indian Government to make up for the missing tax and maybe a fine. Once that is sorted, they may get some of their seized assets back.

I doubt any of the money will make it's way to Ewood.

    Dont trust them one iota.

  2. Some 13 years on and still we dont know why they are still here?.

They appear to want to want to be associated with us but dont want to get involved with the day to day running...they set zero expectations for promotion, they dont address the fanbase, they are now putting in the bare minimum to keep the lights on,what do they get out of it?

Knowing this I really do understand where the accusations of some form of nefarious activity going on comes from.

How much longer have we to suffer this?,its dragging everyone down connected with Rovers but we appear powerless to change it.

He is part of the problem until he is replaced with similar ilk and then guess what folks... the Merry Go Round starts over again.

Nothing but torture for us Dalits in the Stands.

Our average gate this season is around 15k, comparable to a few other seasons since 2012, but nothing to write home about as pretty much every other club has considerably increased their crowds in that time.

However, next season certainly will see a substantial drop. Treading water, then a drop, then a slog back to this still piss poor level is as good as it gets until the owners feck off.

We could well be THE worst supported Club in the Championship next Season.

You either hold prices at the very least or things are going to get embarrassing.

They’re untouchable and they know it. A real government would have tackled these type of football club owners years ago  but they don’t give a bollocks either.

Too true Tyrone. No BRFC supporter trust/Group can even engage in conversation with these people purporting to owning our Club.

We have asked for years what do they get from mismanaging Rovers?,this Season has maybe answered that to an extent...we are to be a feeder Club through our Academy, when it suits them to sell and when the money is right.

Its NOT what the suffering fans of this Club want as it stinks of a lack of ambition and progress.

Worry for me is that there’s no plan, no intention to succeed and no ambition.

As well as obviously feeling we won’t get any of the Wharton, Raya, or likely Szmodics cash to go back into the squad, I just wonder what the point of it all is tbh.

My mate I sit with is the same and this is two people who’ve had season tickets for 30+ years and I imagine, others will be the same.

    This.

They will be advertising them as 'The Survival Season Tickets' 2024/2025.

It was a good time for cowardice.  That point makes it extremely unlikely Rovers will be relegated.   Relegation means £5 million doesn’t arrive from the Premier League and much less television revenue.  With the awful attendance numbers, all the more expensive players get sold.   That point was probably worth almost £10 million.

Yeah blame the attendance numbers?...its down to the owners mismanagement of the club ffs!
