  1. Loving the Alberta Cross album-Broken Side Of Time. No More Stories by Mew Coming Up For Air by Davy Knowles(Great blues rock singer/guitarist from The Isle Of Man) Sons Of Albion(Robert Plants sons band)
  2. Saw Sons Of Albion last night at the Mad Ferret in Preston. The band are fronted by Logan who is Robert Plants son. They were fantastic! great singer, amazing drummer. Was good to see such a great band in a small venue-very powerfull stuff. And the pub sells Black Sheep bitter-happy days.
  3. Just heard that Rick Wright the keyboard player from Pink Floyd had died. Very sad news as Floyd were the first "proper" band I got into when I was growing up(many years ago!),especially the album Wish You Were Here. Pink Floyd certainly made some great music and Rick Wrights keyboards were an intergral part of their sound.
  4. Went to see U23D at the Imax cinema(biggest screen in the world) in Manchester yesterday. It was incredible. One minute you feel that your on stage with the band, the next your in the crowd. The 3d effects are amazing, the sound and picture quality are out of this world. If your a fan of live music I would definatily recommend this. There was also a trailer for a Rolling Stones concert film which looks good.
  5. Me & a couple of mates went to that gig & we all loved it.I'm not so keen on the new album but live they were excellent. They are great musicians who can play heavy rock and more prog-rock style stuff. Went across the road after the gig to Bitter Suite for a few pints of lovely real ale, highly recommend this bar.
  6. Got to agree with you Mr Cletus- Muse were amazing last night. One of the best gigs I've been to for ages.
  7. If anyone has Telewest cable tv(thankfully we have-YESSSSSS) the game is British Eurosport channel 521
  8. Just finished the submachine thingy.Took a while to suss out what to do with the spoon but got there in the end.A good ten minutes wasted-now off to the ley inn to watch the golf on the big screen--NOT!!!
  9. 2-0 England Owen 37mins Lampard 64mins
