  1. Sky Sports News - Ferguson has finally signed for Rangers.

    Good riddance.

    biggrin.gif yes get in! 1 hour left! Get the moves in!

    Typical aswell! Just as i turned over to BBC1 having given up waiting for any news!

    And I keep flitting up and downstairs from computer to SSN !, and yes I miss everything as well !

    Go on John, you've got an hour to spend £5 million !

  2. Thought Savage was excellent today on Talksport, interviewed by Parry and Townsend before lunchtime .

    Basically he said he would like to get his head down keep a low profile and play football to which Parry jumped in ;

    "I'm sorry Robbie but how do you expect to do that driving a yellow Lamborghini and having long blonde hair tied in a ponytail ?"

    to which RS replied

    "OK then should I get my haircut, dye it brown and drive round in a Ford Focus ?"

    Townsend then jumped in and told Parry his point was nonsense and it was a ridiculous comment, Parry was furious at being slapped down .

    AT pointed out that they don't get quality guests on the show to insult them about their hair !

  3. This is in sunday's Observer.

    It would be worth 6 million just to p*ss Gold Bruce and Co off.

    That small club called Welshpool seen as more attractive than mighty Birmingham once again !!

    Blackburn are today expected to lodge a firm £6million bid for Newcastle's Craig Bellamy. Club officials made an initial approach for the striker last night as Birmingham's negotiations continued - and they are, say sources close to Bellamy, 'a very attractive option for the player'.

    The rival offer will come as a blow to Birmingham chairman David Gold, who had spoken earlier in the day about his confidence that Bellamy would be joining before tomor row's midnight

  4. Corrado 'Ciccio' Grabbi arrived at Ewood park under a blaze of publicity for a bargain 6.75 million.

    He once robbed Fabio Barthez to score, only for a wimpy referee to dissallow, hit the bar with a free kick against Everton and equalised sensationally as a sub against Liverpool.

    He also shopped in Spar.

    Stick it in red Den, that's my tribute to the Stallion.

    (Well I nearly got Sherwood in ! wink.gif

  5. I watched Todd after their first goal went in last night, and he did not say a word to anyone. Just walked back to his spot with his head down, like the rest of the team. When really he should have been pointing out the error of Lucas Neills ways to the full back.

    Like I say, get a committee-someone else has voted for it so it can`t be that far fetched.

    2 points ;

    Firstly, I don't see what Neill could have done, he had to attack the player wuth the ball on the edge of the box, a 1-2 was played around him and he tried to recover and block the shot as quickly as he could.

    Just because a goal comes in from the right side doesn't automatically mean Neill was at fault.

    Secondly Todd was talking (not shouting) to Neill all the way back to their positions after the goal, I pointed this out to my mate that he was berating him very calmly.

  6. The article in question ;

    "But it still doesn't make sense why he's gone to Blackburn. He was treated like a god here, he was part of a team that's improving and a club that wants to go places.

    and

    To be honest, we've become an average team and we need to get a replacement for Savage - because we will miss what he gave us on the pitch - and some other top quality players."

    Make your mind up you thick git !

  7. Read this on a Brum website

    So it was down to Saaarf Laaandan to see if Blues could manage without the greedy sheep-s******g Afghan as he stayed in Brum counting his money and looking at his A-Z of Britain.

    As the teams ran out to the loudspeaker playing “When the Red Red Robin goes bob-bob-bobbin along…” the Blues fans correctly inserted “Shoot the B*****d, Shoot the B*****d” at the appropriate point and I joined in heartily as the second verse was changed to “When the red red Robbie….” The other want away Evertonian (former Wrexham!!) midfielder Bryan Hughes started for the home side and got a good reception from the Blues fans as we appreciate someone with a bit more dignity.

    The game started and not surprisingly it was all midfield huff and puff for the first few minutes- with the Blues fans strange a chant of “Robbie Savage – what a w****r, what a w****r” song that was heartily applauded by the Charlton fans – how nice it was to be re-united with the rest of the fans up and down the country in despising the man.

    The goal itself was as bizarre as someone choosing to play for a smoky sh**-hole mill-town club in Lancashire rather than the mighty Blues – a 40 yard free-kick from the left headed towards the Blues box. Taylor watched Upson, whilst Upson watched Taylor. The rest of us just watched in amazement as the ball sailed beyond the pair of them and into the corner of Blues net. One down,
