  1. I have had to turn the 3d right down on zelda, I keep getting a double vision type effect on it.

Still even in 2d its amazing and is pretty much the reason I bought the system, as soon as I heard the ocarina again on the advert I was sold.

Loved it back in the day and love it now.

Just ordered PES for the 3ds should be interesting

As strange as it sounds, your eyes can take a while to get used to the 3D. I started with the slider down quite low and found over time, I could turn it up more and more. The 3D effect seems to get better as time goes on. Though I find when I'm tired I have to turn 3D off altogther. As you say though Zelda is lovely even without 3D.

  2. I can feel the heavy expectation already! We are all going to be looking forward to seeing him, but Kean will bring on Benjani or Roberts instead. :-(

Seriously though, he could be the saviour. On Saturday after Hoillet went off, we didn't have anyone capable of creating a moment of magic. Dunn used to provide this, as did Tugay(what I'd give to have him in the team at the moment, even at his age he has more creativity that our entire midfield). Would Kean risk him though? Everton away isn't the ideal place for fresh youngsters, so him starting might be unlikely.

  3. Rest in peace Ronnie. I never had the pleasure of seeing you play unfortunatly(a bit before my time), but heard so much about you from fellow fans. The fact that you are mentioned when anyone talks of an all time greatest Rovers team speaks volumes.

A true legend and a great man. All my wishes go out to Ronnies family and friends.

  4. My uncle and I intend to come into Blackburn and watch the Rovers play Birmingham, spend a week touring whiskey distilleries, and then watch the Rovers at Tottenham before flying out again.

Any suggestions as to what areas to buy tickets in for the Rovers v. Birmingham and the Spurs v. Rovers? Our objective would be to avoid the areas with poor fan behavior.

I usually sit in the Jack Walker stand upper and have never seen any trouble, ever. I've sat in the family stand in the Blackburn End upper, once again no trouble, many kids in there, quick to get a beer at half time because of this :-)

I rarely go away from home, but I'd imagine it'd be a lottery of where your family got tickets. I imagine after this incident there will be a big police presence in up coming matches.

I've heard of fans killed before, but never at half time on a concourse! This is a first, though with so many ###### up hooligans pretending to be football fans up and down the country it's a wonder there hasn't been more horrible events like today. They are of the same mentality of idiots who go out on the town, get wasted and fight on the way for their kebabs! I'm sure they are still a minority and the majority of our away fans are decent people.

  5. This whole thing has made me sick. I always thought Hughes had more class than this. Seeing all the pictures in the paper and listening to the city fans, it's like all of a suddenly they are Barcelona. Hughes saying we didn't match his ambitions, is very annoying. If he'd have played our BEST players, in their BEST positions we may have done better. We were well on course for finishing in a Euro spot, possibly even top four. We collapsed after he got manager of the month. Even if we'd have spent £10 million I don't think we'd have done much better. The games we didn't win were more than winnable with our squad. Coventry, Larrissa, Brum away etc etc Nothing to do with the Clubs ambitions, it was HIS managerial skills.

After the F.A. Cup game with Coventry, I was thinking there is something seriously wrong. Some of his choices for that game were crazy. I think we'll benefit from a change, IF we get the right man and keep the core of our team and add to it wisely. Just seems as if our poor performances is blamed on money rather than him losing the plot.

  6. I have been sat here since about 2pm trying to get rid of Vista so I can downgrade (or should that be UPgrade) to XP.

Every damn time no matter what I try Vista manages to reboot - whether I fiddle with the boot priority, or disc management or use third party disc format utilities. Microsoft really want me to use thier pile of ###### OS and seem to have found a way of preventing me reverting.

Trying to format Vista is like banging your head against a brick wall but without the sense of achievement.:angry::angry:

Any suggestions before this laptop is launched through the window?

How about launching it through the window and then going and buying yourself a macbook? You'll never look back ;)

  7. I was telling a Citeh fan last night in the pub that I thought Mark Hughes was the best manager we've had in all my years supporting the Rovers. I don't want him to go, but it is very worrying. The players aren't performing, whose job is it to make them perform? The Manager/Coaches. We all know we have some great players and some average-half decent ones, but they are playing like a bunch of chimps! I find it hard to think that it is just a 'blip' and all the players have struck bad form all at once. If Hughes has lost the dressing room, it's the beginning of the end for him.......

  8. Yes, I saw clips of this and it does look good. My will to wait for a PS3 and not get a 360 are really starting to be tested.

For those that dont know about this game Look Here

There is a demo on marketplace, also. It doesn't maybe look like much from screenshots and videos, as you have to play it to appreciate it. |It is so much fun climbing building, creating massive explosions. A true sandbox game as they call them. Also has CO-OP which I personally haven't tried yet, but apparently it's great fun kicking your friend off a high building :D

  9. Thanks for the seasons you've put in Lucas. When you do things right, you are one the best in the Prem, when you play Rugby/Judo you are a liability. Just make sure you never forget who brought you into the big time and if you aren't suspended when we play you in march a few of those Judo throws on Benni wouldn't go a miss eh? ;)

  10. It's in the Star (yes, that organ of truth) that there are in fact 8 teams after him:

    West Ham; liddypewl;Newcassel;Villa;Real Madrid!;Chelsea;Marseille;

That's only 7, presumably the other one is Barca.

He's going to go, surely. I'm not exactly going to be bawling into my hanky when it does happen, I have to be honest.

What do these teams see that we don't? Useless they put his unwanted aggression down to Hughes? Going to Villa or Newcastle wouldn't really be a step forward, the others maybe. Can yu imagine Neill, rugby tackling attackers like he did yesterday in the Champions league?

  11. whaheyy going to have agood night tonight for a change, may even tape match of the day and buy a paper tomorrow!!!!! eases pressure a little and puts more on west ham and middlesborough

Match of the day, whats that? Haven't watched that in ages.......tonight maybe ;)

I was working a night shift last night, haven't been to bed as went xmas shopping today, decided to stay up for Rovers. After the first half I was gonna head off to sleep, but glad I didn't! No sleep for 24 hours but I feel like partying! It is only 3 points, but it feels like 10!

  12. ............................. Speechless.

How do we go from Burnley to Brazil in 15 minutes? Maybe Hughsie does it on purpose to prove himself as a good manager? We went from not passing properly, no one making runnings, giving the ball away every other pass, rubbish defending, no marking to everyone making runs, crisp passing, defenders getting stuck in and reading the game brilliantly, working as a team.

Feels like we've won a cup final after that first half, Rollacaster Rovers indeed! :D
