Does anyone else think that franny jeffers transfer was for financial reason I mean! Comes on pay as you play contract for free! Then loaned out to a championhip club for a bit then maybe a small transfer fee of 250k - 500k at the end of it??

To be fair why drop him? He said he wants to leave at the end of his contract at the end of the day he does a great job at what he does. Maybe people are looking at his performanaces and saying his head is elsewhere I disagree if you looked 8 months ago am sure his performances have not really changed, just transfer speculation making us adere more. To be honest I think the club are slightly to blame correct me if am wrong but letting a player get into the last eighteen months without signing a contract is a bad idea especially if he is regarded at one of the best players at the club. Should he be captain "YES" for me, he is a leader has respect of team mates, he really helped young nolan last night! My Team would be ! Friedel Neil-Todd/Henchoz - Andre O - McEvelley Bentley - Tugs - Zurab - MGP Jeffers - Macca I just think Jay Mc cant be worse than gray. Zurab reads the game well tackles well and can pass a ball and has the athletism to do a job in CM. Jeffers has really impressed me when he has played he has good football brain and will be brimming with confidence. Will get slated for my team!!

Hi guys am not new to the board but have just been lurking... I know the type of response this will get so just take it as information and don't slag me off. From an extremely reliable source I know duffer isn't at all happy at chelsea. Over the last few months he has had a really difficult time OFF the pitch and wants a return to the northwest. He misses blackburn and still has a lot of friends and and family in the area. Now that he has made his money do you reckon he will come back and play for us for free haha I doubt it but I really think there could be a possibilty of seeing damian back in a rovers shirt.
