  1. Just "correcting you" like you did me buddy! Not to mention the. Moving on bit... means that im moving on...
  2. Yeah right, info which you were rude to me about has been removed... conveniently Anything else i should know about in lala land? Seriously, i point out the fact that you been unecessarily rude and then you back out of it by saying that. My god i hope people see you for what you really are... You get satisfaction by correcting people rudely and then try to make them look like the childish one... Very sad, and i think people are starting to see this. You are right about 1 thing though, its all rather childish and maybe you will remember that before calling someone an internet troll, which is in my opinion really very childish Moving on...
  3. I always thought big Colin should have had one, and even though Mike Newell was only with us 5 years it would have been great to see him have one! Will never forget his hattrick against Rosenberg in the Champions League...
  4. Yeah really sounds like your trying to correct me, not at all sound like your trying to get one over on somebody?
  5. Wiki was wrong Rovers.co.uk was right, not my fault if a website is wrong and the figures doesnt really effect the point i was trying to make. Think its more a matter of you trying to get one over on someone which is pretty sad. Oh well... Oh and speaking of people getting reds on there debut, didnt Gary Flitcroft get red carded after like 3 mins on his debut for us?
  6. The more and more this goes on... The more time we loose when we could be persuing someone who isnt questionable and the more Steve Bruce pushes the price up... the more i agree with Ianrally's comment of us showing a lack of ambition... If we resign Dunn then it should be on a pay as you play basis and we shouldnt pay anymore that 500k's-750k's. I would also like to add that even if we resign Dunn, we should be looking for another midfielder should Dunn's fitness be an issue!
  7. I think the reason most people are happy at Matty's progress is because with a player of Matt's age, they still have the ability to learn off there teammates and striking partners. Now who better to learn from then Benni! Derbyshire, Billy and Haestadd are all young players with the ability to learn also. Who 'implied' that any of these 3 players should be on the pitch all that the same time? Not jumping on your back, however you very very wrong. Theo Walcott (past now at Arsenal), Chris Baird, Nathan Dyer and Gareth Bale are all players who came from Southamptons youth acadamy who have all had the fans rolling in. That example i think shows the importance of having homegrown talent. Also when a local lad grows to be a member of the first team what kind of confidence do you think that gives younger lads in the acadamy/reserves to keep trying...? Also you probably have local kids in Blackburn trying to be like Matty, following there dream to be like Matt. You also have the attractiveness of fans coming to see a player they might live down the road from. Or was around as he was growing up! They are loads of benefits of having a homegrown lad playing for your team. When Matt scored against Wigan i had an extra wide smile on my face... Especially when i saw his celebration! No risk of him going elsewhere to the team he supported all his life if he comes good then is there! But seriously, this is a very good example of Rovers fans standing up, and trully getting behind the individual player and willing and hoping they do well! And develop into the right player for the future! Ever get the feeling like your back at school and your being picked on, on the playground. Seriously... Yawn... Bearing in mind his father Eddie Edgar used to be goalkeeper for Newcastle, i wouldnt be suprised if he supported Newcastle and felt like it was his home away from home. Edgars dad was in the stand i believe when he scored that first goal for Newcastle. Now who can tell me that that didnt mean allot for him! He was probably brought up to support the Toons by his dad anyway not to mention the fact that he was in Newcastles acadamy on scholarship... So im sure he had a point to prove. Its always nice to see a lad come through the acadamy at a club. Damien Duff for instance came through our acadamy didnt he, and he wasnt born in Blackburn... NO IM NOT COMPARING MATT TO DUFF by the way!
  8. Ok i will say it again for the very very stupid... Rover The Moon is actually a completely different member who registered on BRFCS before me, i became member but didnt know there was somebody who was already called 'Rover The Moon' so admin changed my username to West Sussex Rover. This is the last time i will explain this to people... Next time before trying to make a joke, look up the other persons username as im pretty sure he doesnt even live in the same county as me!
  9. I think i speak for everybody when i say that Derbyshire has been a pleasant suprise this season. Maybe the better option now if were going to sign a forward is to sign a player who primaraly plays in midfield. Someone like (not actually the player, but like) Kieran Dyer and Damien Duff. That way we have an option for midfield and further options up front if need be...? And yes before anyone says it. I am thinking signing a player such as the 'lad from Scunphorpe' or another striker isnt needed as much as we all thought at the moment...
  10. Take it up with Wikipedia then: Take it up with them...
  11. Ok then this is my opinion of Matty Derbyshire. He has a decent history of putting goals away for fun in the reserves. He has been excellent whilst on loan at Wrexham scoring 9 goals in 10 games however im sure Plymouth are kicking themselves for wasting his talent when they had him on loan. Apparently they had the habbit of using him as a 1 minute before full time wasting sub, he never really had a chance appearing in 13 games for a maximum of 2 - 3 minutes each. Whilst he has been given a chance he has, from what i have seen and been told, allot of passion to succeed and develop. He has got pace, which is something we have been lacking since Roberts has been out. For a player to develop he needs pitch time. Which is exactly what Mark Hughes has been doing. I can one day forsee him scoring a very important goal which will hopefully make us all stand up and give him the gratitude he deserves. I look forward to seeing him develop and becoming an important member of the Rovers makeup. Oh and not that i am trying to take anything away from the opinions given, comparing Nonda to Derbyshire and im not saying that based on 1 game he should be given more of a chance over Nonda (although id like to see a perminant player given a chance over a loanie) apart from decent spells as sub but... SkySports: Wigan v Rovers rated him 1 point higher than Nonda. Nonda HAS scored some very important goals for us this season and im sure he will score more important goals before his loan ends but all im worried about when it comes to Derbyshire is that when injured strikers become fit again. Ie. Jeffers and Roberts, Derbyshire will be forgotten... This is just my opinion anyway...
  12. I wasnt having a go at Fife Rover i was having a go at the concept that id got more than one account! I had already explained in the past that my username had to be changed... Oh well Happy New Year Everyone!!
  13. Another example of somebody being a complete muppet... AGAIN! If you dont have anything nice to say, do everyone a favour and leave me alone!
  14. Its going to be Derbyshire... Everyone knows about Nonda's abilities and thats why one of the nicest things about discovering a new young player is you get to discover there abilities in early matches...
  15. Nonda played 45 and Derbyshire played 45, one scored, the other did not. I dont have a problem with Nonda i just prefer a played who is going to be here longer has a bigger chance to develop. In the last few games he has shown that he is capable of playing top flight, yes i favour Derbyshire over Nonda, thats my opinion...
  16. Whatever... Its funny how people can have a opinion on here. But only if its the same as everyone else. I think Derbyshire deserves his chance. Its my opinion, im allowed to have one by the way! He deserves his chance...
  17. Hmm... I'll say it again. Derbyshire needs/deserves 5 games after his performance today v Wigan!
  18. Im sick of people asking pointless questions like that! I have seen him play a couple of times online and seen clips... Well done Matt for your goal today v Wigan, hope there's many more to come! Happy new year everyone!
  19. Anybody get the feeling that a goal is coming for Derbyshire and then when he gets a taste for PL goal he will gain confidence and muture into a solid pacey striker... I can see it happening anyway!
  20. What a load of tosh! Yes i was Rover The Moon however someone else had that username so admin changed it to West Sussex Rover for me!! As for Roverdrake, i have no idea who he/she is? Is he/she from Sussex? Do they have the same network address...? I dont think so...
  21. But isnt his child. Who he wants to be closer to in Blackburn? Yes i know Manchester is closer to Blackburn then Brum but i still think he'd choose Blackburn if we had a bid accepted. Preferably under 1 million
  22. Ok this is really weird. I got a strange feeling that Liverpool are going to change there mind about wanting Neil and that Newcastly are going to end up signing him. I just looked up the Lucas Neil Topic in the search bar and look what it says underneath it from the summer. Newcastle interested... Weird...
  23. Firstly i wanted to say that im selling a couple of lots on ebay. Dont know if anyone is interested. Im selling a Blackburn Rovers v Birmingham City match dvd, Item Number: 260070951316 Also selling a couple of England International dvds as a job lot. England v Aregentina and England v Jamaica (the 6 nil drubbing we gave them), Item Number: 260070950328 These are both on ebay if anyone wants to bid... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Finally, i have a match program that was signed by all the Blackburn Players back in 2001 v QPR. Signatures include Matt Jansen, Damien Duff, Henning Berg, Brad Friedel etc... Does anyone know how much i can expect to get for this item and where the best place to sell it would be... I have no idea when it comes to signatures...
  24. Agreed! If we get Dunn for anything over 1 million and let Haestad go to Wigan on loan, im seriously gonna be p*ssed!
