Is the anaconda the snake that swallows creatures whole? If it is, there's no way it can lose.
It would be a tad difficult to fight back if you're holed up in the belly of a snake!
...unless the duck craps itself inside and walks out when the snake vomits.
Why Nayef, Thankyou for that delightful image
(where's the vomit-smiley on this thing...)

Just bought "The very best of UB40" from Amazon and have been listening to it non-stop since it arrived.
(ok I exaggerate )
PROPER music not like this rubbish the kids are listening to these days.... (do I sound like me dad?)

I taped our game on the Premiership on Sunday and watched it again last night.
It struck me how miserable Souness sounded. He was talking about having to take a look at what he'd done when it gets to the end of the season and it occurred to me that maybe he's considering packing it in.
Is he on his way out?

If he has to raise the money then he's not loaded.
Who'd be a Leeds fan eh? Better them than us though.

Can't say I'm surprised, but let's be honest, rather them than us.
Though the "going bust and getting kicked out of the league" predictions are jumping the gun a bit.

saw on Tv Bret Emerton and Mark V****a both say well done to England, nice touch, wonder if they would say that if they were not living in England
Absolutely. Aussie players over here can't afford to upset the local populus no matter what they really feel.
This is true of all foreign players (and managers?) in England, they have to keep the locals sweet - it's just not worth it for them to do anything else. Look at what happened to Alpay (mind you, he just made his own situation worse by the stuff he came out with after the Turkey match, so no sympathy there).

Not a fan of egg-chasing but have to admit that I plan to watch this one, if not for the Pommie/Aussie rivalry (they even beat us at football for goodness sake! )
Also watched the League egg-chasing ashes games between GB and the Aussies the other day. Have I gone over to the dark side?
Not a bit of it!
Either way COME ON ENGLAND!!!

The boy Cummings is a literary goliath
This is, of course, measured by Dingle standards where a 6-5 defeat to Grimsby is seen as a good defensive display.

This week I am mostly listening to:
Coldplay - a rush of blood to the head
(FABulous album)

But I'm told life begins at 40 so I'm gearing up for next year

Here's hoping that Souness can instill more confidence in his team than we have on here
Rovers to go out on away goals

That's ridiculous. What did they think you were going to do with it?
The (bar)stewards at Chelski wouldn't let me in at the bridge with a plastic bottle until I had disposed of the top.
Excellent interview though Alan and thanks to Tim for participating
