  1. Trying to sell Diaz everytime he talks
  2. It was definitely a dive. Hyam has made a huge difference
  3. Wharton will be probably end up somewhere like United next season if he keep developing. Hope not but he looks too good for this level
  4. Half this team is from our academy? Should we call this thomasson's tots?
  5. Adam Wharton belies his 18 years. So accomplished. Wish kaminski would play the ball out quicker instead of effing about with it
  6. Don't want to talk about him anymore It's just my opinion and my opinion don't mean shit
  7. Ok great. If its staggered payments then fine. But 5 million is not something rovers can throw away on one player unless the owners are willing to open the purse strings for a summer spree. It's Leicester pulling a fast one just because rovers are a lower league club
  8. Just trying to make the point 5 million is about 3 million too much
  9. Anyways sick of this subject. Hope he does well here and if he does then great.
  10. We sold Armstrong after he was bang the goals in. And Brereton looks certain to be sold this summer
  11. Brentford had a proper model. We are scattergunning. We got slightly fortunate with Brereton having 1 good season. Armstrong money hasn't really been reinvested. Even Brentford got slightly fortunate to find the magic formula to gain promotion. Most trading clubs usually stagnate around the football league. Rovers aim should always be promotion because we are a premier league club and venkys owe us to take us back where they took us from. They are also wealthy they should be funding for better players. I don't think Brentford owners are billionaires
  12. But Mowbray signed these players and has wasted money that has left us in a position where our squad is now woefully short in every area bar maybe centreback. Brereton took 2 or 3 seasons to show some promise and Gallagher is as useless as ever
  13. So we sign him for 5 million then he has another good season. Then we sell him for 15 million the summer after we are back to square one. There's no building its just developing players then making a profit.
  14. Also add if he scores 30 goals then there will be bigger clubs in for him. Just because there's an option to buy doesn't mean to say he's obligated to sign for us. There will be interest from epl clubs or recently relegated clubs
  15. Because 5 million isn't something we can afford to throw away on one player. We are not Watford or Norwich with parachute payments
  16. Nobody is saying he won't be a good signing. If he's a good signing then great but he's never 5 million pounds worth of good signing
  17. What I mean is Premier league money in relation to us. We haven't really a pot to piss in yet we would gamble 5 million on a player that might not work out long term
  18. No he didn't he scored 23 goals in his first season. 26 in his second
  19. That would be more acceptable. 2 million up front. Then I would be up for that.
  20. Yes we are if we decide to make it permanent. If it works out rovers will pay it. If it doesn't its just another season wasted when there are strikers out there that could have made a better impact
  21. But the likes of toney were banging in 30 goals a season on more than one occasion. Plus he was their player. Leicester see hirst as surplus to requirements and are using this loan and contract thing to fleece rovers if we decide to pay it. The guy has no goals in the championship. He's not worth a gamble at 5 million but say we paid 2 million I would have no problem with that if he worked out in his loan
