Sorry, but those last two games aren’t about a curse, it’s all about our manager trying to see out games.

JDT yet again. We were all over them and he tried see it out for 1-0. You can’t do that anymore. Even the top teams don’t can’t do it. How many times does it needs to happen before he realises that the game’s moved on too much, for that?

Hope Morton gets snapped
I hope he scores the winner after reading that. What a vile comment. Mods- make an example of him.
Back to the game- we need an early goal to settle the nerves. It should be a routine win if that happens.

I think a lot of it is to do with people still thinking we’ll bottle it. Those nearly seasons under Bowyer and Mowbray are still in my mind anyway.

We sold 20k STs under Sam. Average crowd of 26,000 in 2010 as this lot bought the club.
Back when we had proper leadership…Top flight attendances that season…
… and here’s a picture from the final day of the League 1 season. If any Dingle dares to mention we’re tinpot, just remind them of when we had a bigger attendance in League 1, than they did in any of their top flight home games at T***, that season.

Totally agree - reduce the capacity and make a better stand, 3k is fine - and add a safe standing area too. Let's face it unless football changes on a grand scale, we'd be lucky to get above 20k for most games in the Prem. In the last 20 years we were only near capacity when Liverpool or Man Utd visited Ewood.
Disagree- does no one else remember us selling 20,000+ season tickets under Allardyce? (Was it around 23,000?) The Darwen End lower tier was full of Rovers fans. I actually remember Dingle FC only getting half the Darwen End, because Rovers fans sat in the other half of the lower tier.
Back to the new stand look: for me it should match the Jack Walker lower tier.

Thank Christ for that: 1-0.

Dingles on top here… City look like they can’t be bothered.

Constantly look like extremely tight games but right now they’re somehow just about always coming out on top.
Rowett’s a fantastic manager. I can see him taking them up eventually.

Mark Robbins is definitely a future rovers manager if jdt leaves. How he keeps getting the best out these Coventry players is unbelievable
I doubt he’d leave them for us- they’ve just been took over, and look in stable hands.

Boro winning again- they look unstoppable. I’d say they’re on course for finishing second.

I’ll be blunt here- watching this reminds me of the dying days of when Allardyce was in charge. We haven’t got the players.
Years of Waggot talking about revenues and refusing to spend more the £1.55 on a player… all for what? Probably the worst side Championship since Coyle was around.
Edit-Diaz saves us!🤣 -
Game over
We’re appalling.

Is this the most boring Rovers side, ever? I’m struggling to think of one.

Half time- the back line looks solid, but we’ve nothing going forward, as per.

Think that's unfair. I remember plenty of times under Sam when conceeding first and gettin a result
True, but that was always at home. Our away form was dire, if I remember rightly.

We have the best chance that BBD didn't finish in the opening minutes
1 chance😴
This reminds me of when Allardyce was in charge- we’re praying that we don’t go behind, because if we do, it’s game over.

Season tickets 2023-24 - what could/should be offered ?

For me, season tickets should be priced based on people’s annual incomes. Apart from the Ribble Valley, East Lancs is a poor area. Obviously there would need a system put in place to avoid system abuse. As an example though:
Less than £20k- £150
£20k- £25k- £200
£26-£30k- £250
… and so on.
