  1. Scrappy but reckon we'll get a second now.
  2. Lennihan the best striker on the pitch.
  3. Good save from Armstrong in first 10 secs. After that, none.
  4. Which wing is Brereton on?
  5. What the hell was that shot Bennett?
  6. Think we've bossed the game but looked a bit shaky defending crosses. Get Bennett off though. Poor.
  7. Exactly. Good opportunity for a few to sink or swim. Doesn't matter if we finish 7th or 20th in the scheme of things.
  8. Tactics/selection didn't work today. We created next to nothing because we couldn't make the ball stick up front. It's clear without a proper number 10 that the usual 'system' won't work. JRC was completely ineffective. Armstrong and Downing can't play it either. In fact, for the second home game on the bounce, Downing was poor in the middle. Strange TM wasn't willing to risk Buckley there. Seasons gone now (tbh it went when Dack got injured). Time for 4-4-2 and integrate some young players, see if they're good enough. Would like to see Davenport and Travis play a few in the middle together with JRC or Chapman wide right and Downing wide left. Two up top and we may as well try two of Gallagher/Armstrong/Brereton - With the other one on the bench. Phase out Graham now.
  9. No it wasn't. He was well off. But the ref was poor again.
  10. Not a Pullis type player tbf. Would also appear he's not a Mowbray one! Given that he's a winger who naturally plays out wide.
  11. TM will be delighted here. We're creating next to nothing and its 0-0 HT. All going to plan. Hopefully we nick something late on.
  12. He'd offer more down the right than Gallagher.
  13. Theres little to no creativity for us. Gallagher been terrible. May as well ho back to experimenting with Brereton.
  14. We have nobody causing fulham any problems here. If we go behind, game over.
  15. Would you mind sharing what TM's plan is? Thanks.
  16. Still maintain that the sole reason this style is possible is Tosin. Once he returns to City, we're back to square one. We've nobody on our books that can play out.
  17. Cant believe that Mowbray is shocked by the wages players are on - 'even in the champ'. How can a manager, in the game for years, not know current salary levels?
  18. Can't argue with that. The frustration is those we know aren't good enough - Bell, Bennett, Williams, Gallagher & Brereton (out wide) leutweiler etc keep taking first team positions or keeping the young guns off the bench. I expect Mulgew will also be back on the bench when fit and it may be time to phase out Graham. Needs a ruthless shift IMO but dont think TM has it in him. I'd have no complaints blooding 5 or 6 of the younger lads consistently between now and the end of the season. Even if we drop down the league, it will be a worthwhile thing to do. I think most of the fanbase would get behind that. As you say, we may reap the benefits in summer or at least cross off a couple of youth names. Plodding along with the above mentioned players as a strategy will get us nowhere.
  19. Do the 19 million losses include the £8 million put in by the owners so we're effectively losing £27 mil?
  20. World full of opinions. All young players are given headway by fans when they play for the first team. Some young ones look ready to step in straight away an impress (like Lenihan, Nyambe, Travis) I'd also add JRC and Butterworth to that list. Others, you see potential but they may not be quite there physically/tactically (Magloire, Buckley). People commenting on loaning them out to develop, or clearly not ready yet is fair enough.
