Good signing but he has to be told to "get your bloody hair cut!" I can't understand his homesickness reasons for signing though. Surely Blackburn and Birmingham are about the same distance from Wrexham aren't they? Why not just come out and say that Blackburn are a far bigger and more succesfull club who do not have a wingeing hypocrit as a manager. And how many clubs did Bruce walk out on before he ended up at Brum....?
He wanted to play for Hughes and Bowen - end of.

I think Fergie will stay, Savage will replace Toogs.
-
3.5 million is far too much, Liverpool are set to land Morientes for 5.
And if there's any truth at all that he wants to be nearer to Wrexham then Everton have got to be favourites, he could be there in 45 minutes.
Let's hope Sparky is the real draw.

Anybody who is a taxpayer has by definition given something , American . I don't think anyone on here would begrudge the 15 million , or whatever it is they're now stumping up - most reckon a tadge more wouldn 't go amiss.
Especially when the cost of getting rid of one man and his generals will surpass $200 Billion.
The money is available, stop debating and help these poor sods who have lost everything. Cole-in Powell has emphasised the point that the USA's donation is proof that Americans can cooperate and assist Moslems. To make small political gain from global tragedy is, I'm afraid, typical.

The Italian government have told the mobile phone networks to get together and issue one number for a charity text message. The text costs just one euro and all the cash goes to the relief fund.
It's been an incredible success. Just about everyone has a mobile phone these days, and you can help whilst waiting for the bus or watching telly, genius.

Al, am I missing something ?
Stead's scoring boots have disappeared, Dickov scored after the Geordie defence left a gap the width of the M6, and Bothroyd ? don't get me started on him.
Hughes announces his intention to go for the highest scoring player in the Scottish Premier league, and in your opinion he isn't good enough for Blackburn Bloody Rovers ?
I think we all need a reality check. The 'gelling' of our little club continues steadily under Hughes.
Hartson and Savage please hurry up.

Freddie Shepherd's giving the Newcastle job to Blunkett.
He can hold on to a lead.

Burned Beck's Odelay about a month ago, put it in the car.
It's been on all the time since - genius.

Aren't Rovers the worse side to visit Ewood this season ?
Agree with you about Bumley. I had to go there last week, then to get to 'Nelson' I had to drive through a 'Brierfield'.
Deary me

had time too think about the game, how are everton 2nd
Throughout the season they have had more success than all of the clubs beneath them in the table, simple really.
Friends and neighbours have all agreed that we should have taken all three points - which was nice.
The notoriously biased Radio City commentary team wanted the final whistle to be blown at the beginning of half time - which was encouraging.

Against my hopes and aspirations, Everton will win. I'll have to put up with the son in law, all his family, the woman at the offy, Bev at the post office, all lee's family, the lad over the road etc etc.

NEJ out, Gray in
Absobloodylutely

Collectively this is the most inept squad/team I can remember in the 40 odd years of following Rovers. Not a creative idea between them. If we stay up it will only be because the likes of WBA are even worse. While I am at it NJ is the worst professional footballer I have ever had the displeasure of watching - crap he wouldn't get in my Sunday League Pub team. I have nothing positive to say but I feel sorry for Huges and the pile of dog poo that he has inherited. But thanks for the Early Xmas pantomime leading up to the Spurs goal. A girls team could have done better.
You're talking bullocks. Spurs were lucky to win given that after a very nervous first half Rovers dominated after the break, and nearly tucked one away.
Thommo had a bad game, but by far the worst player in blue and white was NEJ. Our telly's splattered with chicken and gravy from yours truly screaming at that tousled haired tosser.
Unbelievable second half that we couldn't convert with 75% of posession, that's footy for you I suppose.
Still turning the corner under Hughes, and congrats to Brad, Gally, the irrepressible Dickov, the transformed Todd, and Reid, Fergie, Neill, Short Emerton.
Bothroyd, jury's stillout, Tugay - no chilli on mine mate, and bloody Johanssen. Back to Scandinavia and stick to what you're good at, making cuckoo clocks and lego.

That would be OK if life meant life Bryan. No such thing these days, 15 years ? out to reoffend in 7.
If life meant just that I would agree for most cases, but some cases are so depraved and disgusting the scum should be topped.
In private, of course.

More bleeding heart posts to follow, how could you kill them in cold blood ? We would be reduced to a nation of savages .... what about the savagery inflicted on this poor sod ?
Pink Floyd had it in the bag:
"Just a little pin prick ... their'll be no more aaagghh aa aaggh"

Back to topic: two dingles have been charged with racist chants at the Millwall game.
Pot ... kettle ....

The situation's amplified when your loved ones are fast asleep in the house with you.
Luckily (despite the cliches) I've never been in that predicament, but if it should happen I would act to protect me and mine and worry about the consequences afterwards.
If someone's in your house, they leave their human rights outside.
End of.
PS - Bryan, how many coppers etc ? None mate, trust me.
-
What galls me about any situation like this, is the insistence by many that you are 'over reacting', we shouldn't let our 'emotions rule our heads'.
Why not ?
A state plunged into 'nannydom', fuelled by the welfare state, the judiciary, social services and the PC brigade.
What happened to the days when the authorities spoke softly but carried a big stick ? Sod the lot of them. Anyone found climbing through a window in my house in the early hours is going straight to hospital.
-
Soft measures for criminals are "immoral" if anything . Violent crime (barbarism) is on the increase and its the vulnerable who suffer . Save your morality for them , not the criminals.
Let's hope the authorities can catch and successfully rehabilitate the two little darlings who stabbed a fella to death in front of his nine year old daughter in Chelsea yesterday.

It has just been on Talksport news that a survey by the Guardian found the majority of muslims wanted Suraya law for civil cases in England, so what next ?
What the bloody hell's that ?
Stoned to death for not paying your council tax ?

It's another one of those circular brfcs arguments. Right-wing nutbars on one side, those with a less emotive view on the other.
Who are you calling less emotive ?

Well steady on now, I feel nothing but contempt for a man (or woman) who takes pleasure in stealing a child's innocence, in subjecting them to horrific abuse. Of course they must be punished.
What I do object to is this old testament style hysteria and inability to think rationally. The victims' feelings are obviously the primary issue in such cases, but as a society we haven't evolved away from the law of the jungle only to do an about face simply because we buy The Sun's rhetoric.
It's only a guess, but you don't have kids of your own, do you ?
-
I've been going through the alphabet seeing what rhymed with Nick..I got as far as Pr...
Tashor style mind AS
eh ?
It's night time there isn't it Don ?
Have you been glugging night train with the Abbo's again ?

If we close the topic to avoid the rows we are straight back to the censorship arguement,
That's right Paul mate, we'll get you one way or the other !

The guy from the sun was on North West tonight in a live link up with a representative from the HJC.
He offered to sit down with HJC reps to discuss some way forward and was totally stonewalled.
16 years ago and there is still no dialogue. The same headlines were run in the Daily Star and to a lesser extent in the Express, Mail and Times.
Why won't the two sides talk to each other ?
