Charlie Nicholas on Sky says it should have been 6 or 7. McCarthy just missed another sitter but mustn't grumble.

Whilst I share your concerns I think Neill has been determined to leave since his move fell through in the summer. Yet his commitment and attitude since then, knowing he still wants to leave, can't be questioned. How committed is he really going to be going into challenges as well? -
I knew our recent league results would have a silver lining I just wasn't expecting it to come from Comedy Vinjay. Keep it up mate, I bet you've got Fleming worried
-
Inverness Caledonian Thistle?Just like 'Highlander'...... There can only be one!
-
I'm not sure West Ham are a good comparison. Regardless of the location it's still in London / South East and support-wise they pretty much have the whole of Essex to call on with most the residents thinking of themselves as displaced cockney's and West Ham being the archetypical East-end club.

Two disgraceful decisions. Red card for Tugay and handball by Mido in the box. Appalling.

Andre Ooijer is the Dutch captain tonight.
-
Yep, he was mine too. Show's what I knowWas my marginal preference for the Ewood job last time round. Good job the Board made the choice and not me!

Thanks Krislu. Perhaps if everyone read this post it would be the end of the thread. This kind of thread always pops up when we are having a bad spell. Hughes is IMO picking the best starting XI he can given our current injuries.
We are losing games because our squad is not big enough. With the likes of Savage, Reid, Nelsen and the new version of Emerton out injured there is no wonder we can't win.
Untill these players gets back to the starting XI we are most likely going to struggle in the bottom half of the premier league.
At least things are looking rosy in the Uefa cup!

You're kidding me, aren't you? Oh I get it, nice jokeShearer only ever hit them hard really,

A bit of zip to us now, much better
-
Gray's getting taken to the cleaners at the moment
-
Just seen Roeder is playing Damien Duff at left-back tonight! Injuries withstanding, what a joke and what a fool
-
GOVERNMENT HEALTH WARNING!Grabbie, Davies, Blake, Ward
Under no circumstances add up the total of those transfer fee's. I got to Grabbi and am currently writing this from Queen's Park Hospital.

Ignore. I misread the post. DOH!

Stephane Henchoz will return to Blackburn as they seek to bolster their defensive ranks with Ryan Nelsen injured and Andy Todd unsettled. (Mail)

dillo_dillo, you really are a huge asset to Blackburn Rovers Football Club. Thankyou
-
LOL - I know you're Australian but please make an effort to watch football, it'll stop you making such a foolish post. I'm guessing you copy and pasted that list from the The Age.Rooney is not in the bloody top 5 players in the world. He is not even in the top 10 or 15.
Ronaldinho, Henry, Shevchenko, Gerrard, Riquelme, Deco, Ronaldo, Adriano, Puyol, Eto, Saviola, Crespo, Kaka, Ibrahimović, Ballack, Cannavaro, Nesta, Robben and the list goes on
Rooney is not even the best player in England, I would have Gerrard, Lampard, Terry and even Owen when in form ahead of him
-
Brilliant, that's the best laugh I've had in ages. Although I have to disagree, based on your take of football, surely we should be playing either....Kinell why does the incompetant con man not read this board. He is a fool of the highest order. How he gets away by simply reading the back pages and doing whatever the press suggest is gobsmacking!
BTW what price Ashton and / or Kevin Davies today?
btw despite being a superb all round player Wayne Rooney is not a back to goal player.
...................Ashton/Davies/ Beatty
would p1ss this world cup match.
...................John Fashanu/Brian Deane/Shefki Kuqi

.....oops, you mean 2nd worst after Wright.Leonardo speaks the most sense, and he's got the worst command of English out of the lot!

A fantastic and very touching post rover_groo. Hopefully there's a few BRFCS members here who saw him play and can add their own memories. Thanks again
-
Screw you all, we do Cheese Rolling and getting back on topic, Ian Wright is a complete Dairylea Slice.
-
I wouldn't worry about it, it was probably a well meaning comment. After all a full strength Rovers team would take on a full strength Australian team with no problems (with or without him and Emerton). He knows that so was probably just being diplomatic.

Appalling wall formation they say, enough to have driven a bus through.
Why oh why have I been cursed to support the Rovers.
