OK but before you go too far, ask a Brum City fan the main reason they have fallen away so much recently. I guarantee it isn't because of Dunny lad's injury By the way I know this because I know quite a few Brum fans and all of them independently have said that although they didn't rate him at the time and that they weren't hugely bothered when he left, they've now realised his absence has been a huge factor for their season so far.Savage is an embarrassment to football. Never mind which club he plays for.And no, I don't even think there's a decent footballer under the hair, the highlights and the histrionics.
And what are we saying now? Because other players cheat it's alright for one of ours to do the same?
It's always the media being biased/lazy/crap? Turn the record over, for God's sake!
I thought Le Saux was pretty kindly to the idiot by telling him - on national television - to do him and us a favour and cut out the cheating.
Savage is not fit to wear the Blue and White shirt. Full stop.

Well that's the end of that saga then.
-
Come on guy's. Savage is a "press pantomine villian" and plays for Rovers. Reyes plays for the Arse. Can you imagine the press reporting it any other way?

Awesome stuff. I wonder how much he would have been worth in todays money?http://www.grabme.net/dl.php?key=4a58e9b81...ddd4d28606233b9Just click on 'Run' and wait for it to download (about 4 minutes).

Yikes, I didn't know old "handbag" was still playing Click
Also I like the footnote at the bottom of the story. Just what on Earth is going on?
"A meeting between Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston and Colin Hendry took place on Thursday - but without reaching a conclusion, reports BBC Radio Lancashire.
It means - nominally at least - that Hendry is still the Seasiders' manager, although he is no longer in charge of first team affairs.
Coach Simon Grayson was placed in charge of the team a fortnight ago."

This is a strange argument. Argentina are the home team so it's their choice. They've chosen somewhere in the middle of Europe because most their squad plays in Europe. I'm sure the FA and the PL teams concerned are perfectly happy we don't have to nip over to Buenos Aires.

It might be that if they officially sack him they have to pay compensation. Whereas if they force him out and he leaves on his own accord, they don't need to pay up. I wonder if they are going to try and offer him some post he couldn't feasibly live with after being the manager and will then have to leave.

Duncan Fletcher, that's a bit harsh! That really must have been a rant. I know the Pakistan tour hasn't started too great but after the Ashes....

The law has succumbed to the will of the red tops' need for scandal to sell papers. A sorry state of affairs.Defendants were not named until AFTER THEY HAD BEEN FOUND GUILTY. In other words, if the defendant was found not guilty, he could walk from court with his freedom and his reputatation intact. Now, footballers (and others presumably) are being named when they are merely being interviewed over a charge that may or may not be brought.
Why ?
And if the interviewee is named, why not also the girl making the accusations ?

Not entirely on topic perhaps, but two moderately related links...
"Thieves snatched two African Grey parrots".
The BRFCS PC brigrade will be on to me about that no doubt

Blatter is a fool. If we ignore him he might go away.

'tis the truth. There will be so much pressure on Brazil, as easily the best team, that if they can't handle it, then anyone can win this World Cup.

Interesting <click> Nothing we don't know already but at least it's something.
