According to Radio Lancs today, Souness is going to be mentioned on the programme.
-
The trailer shows Collymore apparently saying he knew 6-8 managers who would take a bung.
He has now denied this.
According to teletext, Big Sam is worried that he and his son, an agent, are going to be mentioned.
-
There was something on teletext about his maybe having a trial at Villa. That makes more sense.
-
It is not yet 100% sure Neill is going to leave the club.
He has turned down the club's first new offer.
According to the LT recently either he has just been offered a new one, or the club is working on it.
-
If he does not sign a contract extension, won't he be a free transfer in the summer and available for a limited amount in Jan?

I thought the centre backs had much more protection in the 2nd half when Aaron was superb-maybe MH will have to play him there more regularly.
As far as Barton's goal is comcerned, it struck me that no-one was picking him up from midfield, which has been a problem for many years, especially when we don't have a defensive midfielder. The interesting thing on MOTD2 was that if Emerton had been in tune with the rest of the defence, Barton would have been off side as he was 10 yards behind the rest of the defence.
I thought Nonda made a very impressive debut, despite being a long way from match fitness. He looked like an out and out striker and he looked as though he really does have a lot of potential. Looked much better than Jeffers.
The interesting rumour I heard at Ewood, emanating from Brockhall and involving a media source rather than a paid employee, concerned Todd and Gray. Allegedely, it will have to be dire circumstances before either plays for the 1st team again. Todd was supposed to have had a major row with MH about Oojer going straight into the team, despite not having trained with them. Gray's problem was not confronting Rooney, but rather being paralytic.

Both stories are of course allegedly true.

Maybe the most important thing is that MH appeared to rate him on approx the last day of the transfer window. It will be interesting to see if MH also rates him during the Jan window, or at the end of the season.
-
As he scored the winner, I don't think we got enough for him.
-
Radio 5 said he was to blame for the other team's first goal!
-
I don't think Dinnis is overly impressed with benni and he was saying some time before we signed him that he suspected Benni's agent had previously hawked him around the premier league without any takers.
-
I think the handling of this situation is Hughes' first big mistake. We should have snapped Liverpool's hand off for £2 million, bought ourselves a decent left back (or taken Warnock as part of the deal) and given Emerton an extended run at right back. We'd have ourselves an equally capable back line, except they'd all be happy to be at the club. And no-one would be getting special treatment.
Benitez only wanted a cash deal and would not agree to their player also coming to us.
As one who thought Neill had a better season last year but that he does not really understand how to tackle, I am watching with interest how the situation unfolds.
-
Dinnis is sure Tugay will have someone marking him in the next leg.
-
MH thought it was a very good performance, master class by Tugay.
Slightly disappointed we did not win.
-
Dinnis is not a mate of mine.
MH says Gallagher played as reid suffered a reaction to the pitch.
-
Sorry but what are you on about?
Lucas Neill.
-
MH has said he will not be leaving before the summer, if he does leave.
Maybe MH is trying to say how important he is to us.
-
It was abolished in 1961. Peter Dobing went to Man City as a result.
-
Dennis is an Arse anyway. He *loves* it when Rovers lose. Was wantaway Luca(n)s captain again? If so why? Another Euro campaige over before it's started.
He is a Rovers supporter.
We didn't lose.
Lucas was captain.
Who would you have as captain.
-
Against Legia Warsaw? Where Newell got a record time for a hattrick? Does that still stand?
It was against Rosenberg.
-
Dinnis is saying Bentley, especially, MGP and Peter were show boating rather than keeping possession.
-
CSKA Soffia Round 1 before Celtic last time...
We went through but we didn't win either game.
-
The commentators say the equaliser has been coming for some time, but we also had plenty of chances.
-
That is it!

According to AN in the LT, Rovers are unlikely to make a shock bid for Sutton.
Earlier in the week the Rovers dismissed speculation linking them with Sheringham.
