Get a sack poll going
I'm choosing to fantasise this is some kind of post-match punitive physical torture we can dish out on Ismael, Gestede and Pasha.

What a joke of a team, manager and club. Fuck them all.

De Neve, Henriksen, Cashin. All should be nowhere near a starting eleven. Anywhere.
Look what we've become.

Is Cashin drunk?

There is a time for a manager to hold their hands up and say "we don't have the players for this formation" and to make a change. Some managers are too stubborn or incompetent to do so.

Thank you to everyone who has engaged with this post. I really didn't intend to bring people down, so I'm sorry if that's the case for anybody. But, not for the first time, I've been reminded of how many passionate and dedicated supporters of this club are here on this site. I've appreciated reading each of your posts on this thread and I hope for you all (as well as, selfishly, for myself!) there appears some light on the horizon through a change in Blackburn Rovers' ownership. Because, for many of us, the club is clearly entwined with so many different aspects of our purpose, families, lives, and history.

This is difficult to write. But something I have found sad on here over the years has been seeing so many posters I've enjoyed reading just disappearing. So I thought I'd say farewell, for now.
Back in 1992, an elderly couple moved down from Blackburn into a semi-detached house across the road on our Somerset council estate. Being a horrible little teenager, I harassed them early on, with casual games of knock-knock-ginger. Once, they caught me at the door and “invited” me in for a chat. I suspected this might involve a blow to the head and a call to the police but, intrigued by their ‘strange’ accents, remembering my mum had the only landline in the street, and being a bit bored, anyway, I sheepishly went in. Anne made us all a cup of tea, while Doug and I sat in silence in big old armchairs in their cold living room. Out of the blue, Doug asked me if I liked football. Within 30 minutes we were onto our second cuppa and Doug was regaling me with stories of a club I knew nothing about – Blackburn Rovers – and his watching them through the 1960s and 70s. He showed me black and white collection cards of Bryan Douglas and Ronnie Clayton and he assured me, with a white-moustached smile, "the Rovers are on their way back; just you wait and see”.
Doug and I met up most Saturdays, to read the sports pages of the papers and to consider the Rovers’ chances in the afternoon’s game. Before I even knew it, Blackburn Rovers was my team, my club. A million miles away from me and my home, yet just across the road. In the next few years, supporting the Rovers gave me some of my happiest life memories, whilst dealing with the stresses of school, gangs, and adolescence. I clung to the Rovers, as a representation of hope and aspiration.
When Doug died in the late 1990s, I was already a big Rovers fan in my own right, despite never having been anywhere near Ewood Park. At nights, I dreamt of having the chance to be there, and during the day I knew I had to stick with the club, come what may, for Doug, as well as for myself.
Well, I have tried, Doug. I’ve given it a really good go, and I hope you wouldn’t be too saddened that I can’t keep it up, now. I suspect it would be nothing next to your sadness for what has become of your Rovers.
The truth is, for me the excitement of Rovers has gone, the enjoyment of our games has gone. But most of all, the 'hope' is gone. This club is no longer one Doug would recognise, and nor do I. It brings me only sadness rather than any fun, pleasure, or aspiration. Rainy drives to games at Ewood Park have left me with a deflated feeling – amplified by the stress of wondering if that game will even start/finish.
My wife asked me yesterday, after I had attended a different club’s match, successfully seeking something a bit more fun, why am I still following Rovers? What do I get out of it in return for my time, energy, money? What is the point if there is no expectation of things getting any better? Why would I travel 500-mile round trips in the hope of maybe seeing a couple of shots on target? She seemed genuinely sad and frustrated for me and at how this all makes me feel and behave. For the first time (we’ve had similar conversations before), I just responded with “I don’t know. I don’t really want to, anymore.”
So, with that, I now, sadly, withdraw my support for this previously great club – one that I have loved for 33 years, and always will, deep down, but which is now just the cause of unhappiness for me. I don’t know how many future seasons of football I will get to see, but I do know I don’t want them to be spent with bleakness and anger towards something that should, on some level/s make me happy.
I will remain registered on BRFCS, a place that is brilliantly run and has represented a rare place of ‘safety’ for me to share views about what has been the absolute destruction of what many of us, and those before us, were able to enjoy and love. But I’ll only really be looking out for Venkys leaving, and consequent hope that the great Blackburn Rovers can be reborn.
Until then, being a Rovers fan, for me, is no longer a place for happiness. The club has become a symbol of decline and disappointment, and I choose, painfully, not to have that in my life.
Thank you all for being interesting to interact with. Of course, each one of us behind a username is a person, with a story of our own. So, keep being kind. Take care.

There is just no enjoyment at all in following this club anymore. I need to stop watching the games for my own wellbeing. As, really, unless and until the owners leave, this is a zombie club (as others have said). Not alive, existing, no joy. Time for me to watch another team whilst keeping an eye on the Rovers news. Any more than that is just painful - especially while a few thousand well intentioned still pay their money to prop up the Venkys regime.

Oh Henriksen is still playing?!
Also, today has been a brilliant example of the impact of respective ownership. I wonder what would have happened if Wrexham fans had stuck to a pre-Reynolds line of "who would buy us". Until we throw the dice we continue the slow (but perhaps accelerating) death of our club. While Wrexham push for a play off place after a takeover and several promotions under ambitious and responsible owners.

20 to go. No shots on target. At home. Wonderful. Thanks Venkys, Ismael, Gestede, many of the players.

To be fair it’s excellent defending from Hyam
Doesn't matter. Through on goal, should have scored. Didn't. We dont create enough chances to fail to take those. Its a miss.

Two goals down at home and somehow made more defensive substitutions. Given up?

Finally Baradji does something of note. He was unlucky with that one.
He should have scored.

Utter shite in every area of the team, including tactical approach. Why anyone still wants to pay to go and watch this crap is beyond me. Walk away - starting with the Watford game. The owners need starving out. Im not going back until they are gone. Why the hell would I?

Maybe, I never bought any of the over priced shite on the concourse when I was attending anyway.
Me neither. But crap football, in a neglected stadium, hoping no rain for fear of an abandonment, and with no access to hot drinks in winter/ cold in summer, nor food before or during the game = Even less of an enticing prospect for many. No money spent at Ewood - tickets and/or food and drink means the operation is even less viable as a going concern.

Not wishing to sound like chaddy dismissing every idea out of hand but Im not sure that will work, it'd just give them an excuse to stop providing those services altogether.
They'd probably love it.
🤔
Which might lead to even fewer going?

Let's think ahead for a little while here.
Assume that a partial fans boycott has the desired effect, and the Rao family put the club up for sale. Who will be prepared to offer the Raos anything like the sum they are going to want? It is highly likely that, even if there is an individual/consortium/business that is prepared to meet the Raos' valuation, negotiations will drag on until late in the season at best. By which time the club is almost certainly going to be deep in the relegation zone with a real prospect of League 1 football for the 2026/7 season. In all honesty, I don't see this happening.
More likely then that the best that can be hoped for is that a fans boycott pushes the club into bankruptcy, with the accompanying points deduction, relegation and disposal of assets (if any remain). Then we have to hope that someone picks the club up at rock bottom price from the receivers. Some will worry this could mean the end for their beloved club, others will see it as a chance for a rebirth. All will depend on whether someone with deep pockets and a passion for the club is prepared to step in and save it. Will it happen? I suspect nobody knows for sure.
Depressing isn't it?
I will be immensely surprised (though, oddly, relieved) if Venkys ever allowed the club to become bankrupt or go into administration. That would draw far too much attention. Any benefit Venkys are getting from owning this once great club is tied up within accounting considerations and/or avoiding revealing wrong-doing by someone/people. Because of this, I can't see them ever walking away, nor having the books taken and opened up through administration.
I don't believe Venkys have any strategy beyond sustaining the status quo for the smallest outlay possible. And I am still unconvinced there is an identified protest strategy that will effectively address this unusual scenario.
Combine this with some of the frankly depressing 'alternative views' and I honestly feel more hopeless about it all then ever before in the last 15 years.-

Pasha is Venky's advisor. Target him and make it uncomfortable at matches. Pasha has been a constant figure since the owners took over. Has started to be targeted heavily in the last 12 months or so.
I'm just going to be completely blunt with you. It's not down to just 1 supporter group to do something about it.
You are correct in that. But we are all a demoralised and exhausted fanbase and, to be blunt with you, you have stated with absolute certainty venkys will leave if certain individuals go. Armed with some intel that many of us clearly arent, then, what might be done by any/all of us to achieve ousting those individuals? I have no idea, as a reasonably informed individual, how to do that. And talk of organised protests goes round and round on here without unanimity whilst I am unconvinced they would achieve that particular initial key outcome. Evidence of the "certainty" of that outcome leading to venkys going would be a huge game changer for many. Do you have it, or were you describing a personal belief, rather than absolute certainty?
I realise electronic discussions can be interpreted differently and I dont want the above to come across as confrontational - it isnt intended that way. I think wording is very important and your original post gave me hope. Subsequent ones, less so.

Taking out the coalition, trust, etc
I appreciate as supporters that you are looking for direction, etc.
The odd wins don't change anything. We still have these owners, and I want them gone, as many of you do. So why do we allow wins to continually paper over the cracks?
I'm essentially asking, what do you think is the most appropriate action now to take? We can't stop and start depending on results. Results won't change this ownership.
Yesterday you stated that "if certain people leave. We’re very certain the owners will follow". If you believe that with the certainty you stated (I dont think you responded to my reply anout this) then why are you posing this question and asking others to come up with solutions when we aren't aware of the facts that make this such a certainty, for you? Your wording suggested the crucial action is targeting particular individuals. So who are they and how might that be effective, based on the information that gives you such certainty? I feel like I'm missing something here between certainties and asking what to do.

The result doesn't match the performance - I'm stunned how we've lost this game - but it's the mark of a team going down that they lose games they should draw and draw games they should win. That's been our hallmark this season.
But with two attempts on target and regular error in defence the likely outcome isnt a win. It is rinse and repeat from most of our games. Im not feeling stunned. Angry. Unsurprised.

poor team? Their passing and movement are so much better than us. We are the poor team.
No, they are a poor team. Based on their other matches and the views of their fans. They were in the relegation zone for good reason. We have made them look good today. Because we are far worse than them. Charity Rovers strike again.

We only concede injury time goals. The one thing that we are bloody brilliant at.

That's harsh. I saw him collect the ball at least twice and kick it directly into touch.
