Looks like Wharton is in the starting 11

I'll be hugely surprised if we get anything from this match other than comfortably defeated
-
Horrible performance. Absolutely dreadful and doesn't bode at all well for the next games.

Asked this, they are all uploaded into different folders, and there is not actually anything on the screen that puts all the deals on one page as their status, its certainly appears to be an issue with this software. I actually asked this also in the players meeting yesterday and was given the same answer as I'd been given my the other 3
If it is an issue that only seems to actually affect Rovers transfers, then surely it isn't really an issue with the software, more the competence (or motivations) of the users?

I guess the official announcement that our head coach has left, due to the incompetence of the owners and their acolytes, is tomorrow's Embarrassing Rovers News Story, then...
Just the 24 hours before the next crucial relegation match. Twats.

What did anybody really think could be gained from such a meeting. Were the fans going to have a go at the likes of Hyam for getting rag-dolled by a centre forward every week or players lacking bottle as soon as we go behind. Or were the players giving some insight as to why we are losing so often, conceding so many goals from set pieces?I
Totally pointless and futile.
I agree with this. But I do want to add my thanks to J*B for attending and reporting back.
What has been reported (and circulated), though, has only made me feel more angry and, despondent. I'm not sure the meeting really gained anything more than this kind of impact, did it?

As above, so our current situation is about chronic financial and owner mismanagement, appalling and embarrassing approach to transfers and basic club administration, no clear overall strategy, terrible ticket pricing, etc. Yet somehow that has been turned into it all being about the poor players being upset by the fans, who are at fault in all this. This is dreadful spin and these players, frankly, look like they have played their part in it, today. Especially having a whinge whilst their coach is left out of the meeting. Fuck them. This club is a corrupt cesspit. An empty (chicken egg) shell. I think I'm finished with it. I want to be, now. But I fear I'll be hanging on a bit in the vain hope somebody will save the club, somehow.

Waggott is a lame duck/puppet/stooge and although not very good at anything a CEO would normally be expected to be good at, very good at the one thing the owners care about: deflecting attention from them.
Suhail is the main antagonist. No chance he leaves without Venky’s selling.
The Rao’s are the problem, they have been for 13 years, they will be until they sell. Heat needs to be turned up on them for the rest of the season, they have to feel the pressure.
I felt similarly. It is actually a good, well-written and fairly brave piece, which clearly reads to me as having been reliably informed by Rovers' "recruitment team". Well done to LET on this occasion, and well done to?Broughton and Tomasson/team? for getting the truth out, despite the strain that I suspect everything is under.

I feel like one of the worst weeks in Rovers history is about to unfold before our eyes...
- Monday: McGuire deal off, he goes back to the US. Rovers once again a laughing stock.
- Tuesday: JDT gone.
- Wednesday: Gregg interview, squirming around the questions asked.
- Thursday: Some pleb put in charge of the team.
- Friday: Give us a day off from the car crash.
- Saturday: Stoke beat us. Toxicity levels at Ewood rise.
- Sunday: Complete and utter dejection.
Sorry for being overly negative but this is how I see it panning out.
I can definitely see an announcement in the next couple of days that JDT and rovers have "mutually agreed to part ways".

It doesnt make a difference who will replace Jon. As long as the club is as rotten as right now its impossible for a coach to succeed. Even Pep would fail.
Absolutely. None of the named "candidates" would take a call from Venkys or their minions. I'm sure word gets around, particularly with any UK based managers, and only the very desperate would be interested in working for a bunch of lying scumbags like our owners. People who renege on agreements with managers, clubs, players and communities. Until Venkys go, it doesn't matter who is coaching the team.

Probably not but they like a few quid like the rest of us.
If its literally only a few quid then they might be candidates. Much more and they aren't affordable. For those of them with any ambition, they'll steer well clear of this one.

Warnock, Potter, Cooper, Eustace. Any of those would give this squad a shake up and instil some fight. Worth trying.
None of them would come here for the terms Venkys would offer. I think JDT will go. But I suspect the replacement will be an internal promotion. Cheaper is better, right?

We have Tronstad, Garrett, Ayari, JRC, Buckley(back soon and the ideal player to replace Wharton in the 8 role), potential new signing
Our recruitment should fit the way we play football.
I'm not sure he would start tbh here. I think Garrett or Ayari will take the place of Wharton
You are making it worse. But you've managed to inadvertently support the argument/fact that we have significantly weakened our central midfield options in this transfer window. Open your eyes.

I can't bring myself to click on it. I'm genuinely heartbroken. I was never going to forgive venkys anyway, but this is a new low.
They're just bastards they really are
Me too. I can't click the links or watch the videos. This one, of all the horrible developments under Venkys tenure, feels like a final twist of the knife for me. I was really looking forward to seeing Adam develop at our, and his, club. That's been taken from us, even if it were only realistically in the short term, due completely to the failings of our fucking awful owners.

For me the statement put out by the club stating we had funds to get to the end of the season, is spitting in my face , when they bloody knew that was based on selling our biggest asset.
Loans, loans and more loans , with most of Adams fee gobbled up to pay the bills. Add that to pending Raya money Phillip's money and any further sales, they are really leaving us to rot with zero ambition.
Yes. It was always going to be this way. This is why the club is dead to me, now, until Venkys are somehow forced to leave us. I just can't see it ever happening.

£1.5m- £15m in 6 months!! Wow fantastic business by Boro!!!
Wish we would behave in this way
Don't they also have a huge sell on % to pay? Point still stands, though

LET not even up and running with a Deadline Day feed. Chaos with all things Rovers at the moment...
Thry probably "don't want to comment on speculation or something already in the public domain". (Almost) as useless as Venkys. Part of the problem, the local media, not part of any solution.

Wading through pages of shite ain't going to appease me. I prefer facts and will post likewise if anything actually happens.
I suggest a thread explicitly focused on rumours (which is all we often have to go on) probably isn't for you, then.
Let's see if 11pm looks much better a scene than the one painted on here right now. I hugely doubt it. But feel free to label this post as more "shite".
