  1. Me neither. But crap football, in a neglected stadium, hoping no rain for fear of an abandonment, and with no access to hot drinks in winter/ cold in summer, nor food before or during the game = Even less of an enticing prospect for many. No money spent at Ewood - tickets and/or food and drink means the operation is even less viable as a going concern.
  2. Which might lead to even fewer going?
  3. I will be immensely surprised (though, oddly, relieved) if Venkys ever allowed the club to become bankrupt or go into administration. That would draw far too much attention. Any benefit Venkys are getting from owning this once great club is tied up within accounting considerations and/or avoiding revealing wrong-doing by someone/people. Because of this, I can't see them ever walking away, nor having the books taken and opened up through administration. I don't believe Venkys have any strategy beyond sustaining the status quo for the smallest outlay possible. And I am still unconvinced there is an identified protest strategy that will effectively address this unusual scenario. Combine this with some of the frankly depressing 'alternative views' and I honestly feel more hopeless about it all then ever before in the last 15 years.
  4. You are correct in that. But we are all a demoralised and exhausted fanbase and, to be blunt with you, you have stated with absolute certainty venkys will leave if certain individuals go. Armed with some intel that many of us clearly arent, then, what might be done by any/all of us to achieve ousting those individuals? I have no idea, as a reasonably informed individual, how to do that. And talk of organised protests goes round and round on here without unanimity whilst I am unconvinced they would achieve that particular initial key outcome. Evidence of the "certainty" of that outcome leading to venkys going would be a huge game changer for many. Do you have it, or were you describing a personal belief, rather than absolute certainty? I realise electronic discussions can be interpreted differently and I dont want the above to come across as confrontational - it isnt intended that way. I think wording is very important and your original post gave me hope. Subsequent ones, less so.
  5. Yesterday you stated that "if certain people leave. We’re very certain the owners will follow". If you believe that with the certainty you stated (I dont think you responded to my reply anout this) then why are you posing this question and asking others to come up with solutions when we aren't aware of the facts that make this such a certainty, for you? Your wording suggested the crucial action is targeting particular individuals. So who are they and how might that be effective, based on the information that gives you such certainty? I feel like I'm missing something here between certainties and asking what to do.
  6. But with two attempts on target and regular error in defence the likely outcome isnt a win. It is rinse and repeat from most of our games. Im not feeling stunned. Angry. Unsurprised.
  7. No, they are a poor team. Based on their other matches and the views of their fans. They were in the relegation zone for good reason. We have made them look good today. Because we are far worse than them. Charity Rovers strike again.
  8. We only concede injury time goals. The one thing that we are bloody brilliant at.
  9. Two attempts on target. Against a very poor team. Dreadful. Again.
  10. This team. Absolutely fucking useless.
  11. I dont think our injuries are our biggest hindrance. Team selection and subs are often bizarre and do more harm than good. Same again with starting line up today. De Neve and Tavares shouldn't be anywhere near the line up, injuries or not.
  12. "Very certain" is a bold statement. The reasoning/theory for this should be shared, or the language reconsidered.
  13. I have a good friend who is a Portsmouth fan. I met up with him at the same fixture last season, which was a horrible away day for us Rovers. He is dreading today's game (and every game, currently). Like us, injuries have hit them hard with no squad depth and defence a particular problem for today. Goals are there for our taking. His view is that if opponents can nullify the pace and creativity of Josh Murphy then Pompey have nothing at all going forward. His predictions is a Rovers win. I'm feeling similar in that a failure by Rovers to win this one will be a big disappointment and concern for the rest of the season.
  14. How is Tavares still on the pitch? How the hell was he even allowed on the pitch? Utter shit.
  15. Home against a shit team. 3 at the back (fine in itself) with a fucking awful "screening midfielder" as an extra defender, essentially, coupled with a midfield in TGH who seems to have idolised Jason Lowe as someone who's entire game seemed to be based on running around. Useless team, overly defensive and poorly organised. Needs baragi and cantwell at half time.
  16. Not a surprise and the only sad thing is I feel very little.
  17. Got to be one of the very worst central midfields Rovers have ever put out.
  18. My increasing dad jokes are a further sign of these desperate times! At least I avoided signing off with "I'll get my (rain)coat"
  19. I like this. But I hadn't seen it before it was posted here (thank you). Where has this statement, and perhaps others like it that I might have also not seen, landed/featured in the media? What impact has been made? I'm asking with genuine curiosity and wishing for something to be picked up and resonate beyond Rovers fans' groups, but not really seeing it - yet.
  20. Why would Hasta ask Nixon what you think? The questions raised asking your opinion are valid and it would be interesting to know what you think on this (rather than just passing on other people's views without critically appraising them).
  21. Total embarrassment. As a long distance supporter and attender (I didn't today, thank god), for this to have happened again rules out any more tickets for Ewood games for me and my family. Not worth the risk. In fact, right now, I dont know anymore why I'm investing any emotion or money into this club. It isn't the Blackburn Rovers I fell in love with. I'm ashamed of it and appalled by it.
  22. I just never felt like that goal wasn't going to come. We aren't good enough to take our chances and aren't good enough to hold onto a lead by sitting deep. It feels like a defeat. I really dislike this team.
  23. Its horrible isnt it. Overall, League 1 quality. Probably a big insult to most of league 1.
