Blackburn Rovers Women

I can only conclude this was always a calculated misdirection based on the literal meaning. Of course they don't refuse to sign a cheque, because they realistically would never be asked to. -

I know what you are saying but Sheff U would have thrashed us if they were able to shoot. I think we gave just about as much as our limited team could. Close. But so far away. -

They've earnt it through the second half of the season. Had we scraped it on the last day I would have been delighted, of course, but it would have been lucky. Bristol City have the sheer determination and team hard-work and determination that ours has, at times, really lacked. It made a difference. -

Our subs have been nowhere near good enough to impact this game in the way we needed. Dennis, Kargbo, Woodrow, Forshaw, Gueye. None of them should be here. I would honestly rather we had academy graduates covering each of those. The wages are a total waste. Kargbo might, just might, offer us something next season. January 'significant investment' has been the (negative) difference. Again. -

Great save and how the actual fuck has Pears played so many games this season? -

Oh, it's fine. Forshaw and Woodrow are on their way. This is going to feel like a huge missed opportunity to have "had a right good go". PS Kargo is exciting but, unfortunately, also seems to be brain dead. -

Wilder must be ahead of Parker in the stakes for the most dislikeable football manager. He always looks like one of those drunks you see at a bus station shouting at the pigeons. But with less class. -

So many of our players look out on their feet, here. Surprised not more than the one sub so far. THis is going to be another so near yet so far away. -

Honestly, I feel sick with nerves for this game. I don't know how I'd cope with the anticipation of a play-off match!! I still sense this is a scenario I won't have to be concerned about but, you never know... -

Possibly, just possibly, could be important. -
Third goal. Helpful. Perhaps...

Very good comeback win. The last few games have shown a resilience that was badly lacking in the february-march period. Going into the final game of the season with a chance is nice. Leaving aside the feeling of "what if", I just hope the team selection next weekend speaks of attacking intent from the outset, rather than any sitting in for an hour before hoping to still be level for a last push. -

Ever reliable, Venkys Rovers. Just not for the good things. -

Also hope to be proved wrong but Woodrow would be nowhere near the match day squad, for me. I'd have brought in gueye and played ohashi off him. -

Some brilliant signs getting some screen time re venkys and pasha. Lovely. -

It is. But there's hardly anyone there. Anybody doing this will be a sitting duck labelled as an individual trouble maker. It won't make any difference. The players, the coaches, the owners. They are all a total embarrassment. And there's no way of it improving through anything the fans do. -

No, never been convinced it is worth it. My comment was to say that I disagree with the request being made in there. Not that I have any right to influence it, as a non-member. Just that I don't personally think it is helpful. Anyway, probably the wrong thread. -

I appreciate the sentiment and the collegiate approach. But "meet with us, talk with us, listen to us, and work with us," doesn't reflect what I want from our owners. If they did the above, which Venkys could suggest they have done on (rare) occasion through the years, I don't believe anything would change. Nothing. It is well beyond that being the required clear message. It comes across as a weak statement, at least in regards to Rovers and Venkys. -

Because he is a dreadful defender. He has been at fault for several goals this season, a season in which he has rarely played. -

Travis has been OK. Otherwise, every one of the midfield and attack have been absolutely fucking abysmal. Play the youth team players. We know all about players like Hedges and Dolan. Their time is very much over. What a farce of a football club. -

Out of possession we look like (rubbish) boys against men. In possession just like a group of strangers. It's horrific. -

I hear our fraud of a manager/coach/chief-hands-in-pockets-officer has been bleating on again about the team's energy and intensity and how that will set the tone of the atmosphere in the stadium. It would take an enormous shift from the team selections, tactics, energy levels and mentality set out in previous matches to do any such thing. He is such a bullshitter, this bloke.
