No worries for me - we are going up through the play-offs.
I fear no other team.
In the main since the World Cup, we've shown we can mix it with 'the best of the rest'.
No doubt about it, JDT has learnt from some earlier season 'woes'. We don't p1ss about with the ball at the back as much and our play is more varied as evidenced by some of our direct attacks.
Signs are that BBD is 'coming back', Dack has to come back whilst JRC, Carter, Szmodics and Dolan have made big steps forward in their performances. Thomas whilst not setting the league alight has given us a different dimension.
The Cup quarter was a sickener and it's taken some getting over, however, in my mind, barring a spate of bad injuries, we are a certainty to go up. You can get Rovers at 11/1 to be promoted and they are generous odds - good money to be made!
I hope you’ve not jinxed us!

Not that anyone asked, but the chance of 27 games in a row being a win or a loss is 1 in 56815 (1.5 to the power of 27)
I guess the ‘real’ answer as to the chances of Man U being drawn at home ten times in a row is - it depends on how often the FA/TV companies want them to be at home 😀

But are they in a row? Each draw happens weeks apart. Im not even sure if your number stays the same throughout 🤷♂️😂
They’re definitely in a row 😀

My phone hasn't stopped today with people wanting to discuss the game, great attacking football, how unlucky we were, tremendous support, promotion, play offs, JDT and Sam Szmodics!
We are no longer that club run by chicken farmers, we are back on the map.
This might be a minor thing but I’ve noticed how many players have apologised on social media.
The reason I noticed is they’re saying sorry when, imo, there’s no need to do so - a few years ago we had players who didn’t apologise when they really really should have been doing so.

The U21's are still in the cup, and are playing at home against the Nobbers tomorrow.
I’d suggest we’re odds on for the win then 😁

But isn’t every draw independent of the previous one? Sure I read some interesting Derren Brown stuff on this.
If you’re considering the odds of something happening ‘in a row’ you have to think of all previous possible ‘combinations’.
Drawn at home = 1 in 2.
Drawn at home twice in a row 1/4 - (home then home, home then away, away then home, away then away).
Being drawn at home once doesn’t decrease the chance of being drawn at home again the next time - that is still 1 in 2 but the ‘power’ increases with each additional occurrence (theoretical or actual).
Three in a row = 1/8 Four in a row = 1/16 and so on and so forth.
I hope that makes some sort of sense. 😀

I'm hoping GB has someone better than Coyle lined up.
I’m hoping we don’t need to find out. 🤞

I broke my femur playing football at school. The sports teacher made we walk (Limp dragging my leg almost) home about 2 miles.
My late mother who was about 4'10" almost throttled him, the following day, as I lay in traction in Blackburn Royal.
Did she forget to take her ladder? 😁

I dragged myself off the pitch and my dad drove me to hospital 😂 Closest I've ever seen my dad get to thumping someone who hadn't hit him first.
I’d like to think you at least tried to run it off first 😄
Seriously though, that sounds f…ing painful.

My coach to me when I went down with a dislocated knee.
If I'd done what Morton did, he might have throttled me then and there!
did you get up??

Yeah this loan business is getting out of hand - some Sheff Utd fan on 606 saying “it’s a disgrace that the our two loanees can’t play in the semi final and they should make an exception” even Sutton agreed with him.
No one want to point out we couldn't play Sorba Thomas yesterday as he was cup-tied? One of our in-form players?
Couldn't make the game yesterday and had to watch on TV - gutted as that away end looked class - the love in for the Sheff Utd and the two loanees was pretty hard to stomach, no mention of our Academy lads and the fact we got that far without loanees, thought it would have been worth making the opposing view.

The potential points deduction for Reading could hand one of Wigan / Blackpool/ Huddersfield a lifeline.
Curious to see what the EFL does there.
Enforce their rules inconsistently??

I bet City are torn - on the one hand it would be good experience for the players and, realistically, whether they play or not isn't going to make a difference to the final result.
On the other hand, sods law is they scrap a winner.
It’s not a decision for them to make - the rules are very clear on this (posted earlier on)

Maybe he just doesn't like us?
Where's he from and who does he support?
He’s from West Sussex - no idea who he supports (sounds like Man U territory 😀)

I just don't the negative thought process here when we are the 4th best form in the league in the last 10 games.
Lets just continue the form and given how we are playing currently I have no concerns yet
Why so negative 😁

Club methods are rubbing off on the fanbase, I see 😂
Hopefully we’re more understanding/forgiving than the EFL… 😁

I understand your point but why should the club be liable for neanderthal like behaviour of fans?
It feels like there's no personal accountability these days - pissing in carrier bags and throwing them downstairs tells you everything you need to know about these reprobates.
I understand your point too however whilst the club isn’t responsible for the behaviour of these people I’d suggest they are responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of those on their official coaches.
Maybe they aren’t obliged to refund, but I’d like to think they’d want to.
Of course, if they’d been better organised and ensured people got on the right coach, they’d find it easier to identify the culprits and ban them from using this transportation in future and/or seek their own recompense (eg for the cost of cleaning the coach in question)

I think Rovers need another 12 points to get a playoff place.
Its going to be exciting last 9 games but the current playoffs teams look well set to be the teams in the playoffs for me
12 points may be enough - as long as it doesn’t include losing to Norwich, Coventry, Luton and Millwall!
I’d be surprised if one team doesn’t make a late run, I just hope it’s not at our expense.

The thing I like about how VAR is used in both rugby codes, is that there is a conversation between all officials and they come to a concensus decision, rather than just one persons opinion.
Plus you can (at least on the tv, I don’t know about in the grounds) hear that conversation.
Sorry again!!

I think the point in RU is intent has nothing to do with it now. If you meet the criteria you get sent off. Its up to the tackler to make sure he does not meet any criteria no matter how unintentional. If the criteria is too harsh then the criteria need changing.
They've taken red cards out of the referees hands with the protocol to try and make it predictable and drive down head injuries.
I know you’re just pointing out the authorities position but how can a player make sure he doesn’t do something unintentionally?Sometimes these things are just accidental - not all incidents need to be punished so severely.
Sorry for going off topic again!
