22! Speed up!
33 and i can't for the life of me figure it out!
Edit: Completed it! Wohoo! just work backwards from the finish in some levels and it's easy.
I'm just stuck on level 25 and I can't bloody well do it!!!
I don't understand how you can get it into the hole when you need to press the trigger to gain an extra tile, when by pressing the trigger you lose access to the frigging hole!
I know what I mean

I'm upto stage 22 and my head feels like its going to explode.

According to my relatives that were regular attenders at Ewood in the late 50'/ early 60's Dougan was indeed a very good player. I saw very little of him because at the time I was living and playing myself down south, so only very occasionally got to Ewood in those days. I got back to regular attending at Ewood in April '66 just as my own playing career came to an abrupt end.
Who did you play for?
-
Has anyone got the goals from any of the Rovers vs Bstards goals on the internet?
-
Ha. Did that actually happen though?

for those who play management games!

As for Muse....I doubt any gig will ever surpass that and i can't wait for the DVD to be out.
You mean you've never been to see Oasis live?

I found that really funny actually.

If your looking at the big picture though, he has played an entire season, he then plays in this U21s tourament and gets 1 week rest before the new season. Then plays another whole season and could very well get a call up to the full squad for the Euros. This could then mean he hasn't had a proper break for 2 full years and that can't be good for anybody, regardless of how much they get paid.
Hold on these players dont play and train 24/7. They train for about 6 hours a day 4/5 days a week and that includes all the team prep, video reviews, social functions etc.
There are also various windows of rest when International fixtures are being played. To say the lad hasn't had a 'rest' for two years would be an absolute joke. I'm not knocking his decision to pull out as I believe he has more than proved himself in the league and for the Under 21s, but to announce that the decision is due to fatigue is not on in my opinion.
Like Pearce has said, there are other players that have played a lot of games this year and it doesn't seem to put them off. You can bet if this summer was one of full-International competiton, the fatigue would have disappeared.
I don't like criticising our players, and I feel Pearce is a knob when he pretends to have this undying sense of national pride and patriotism - he only does it because he knows people will like him more because of it. However, I just feel Bentley has gone the wrong way about this.
Still, like I said, I appreciate the fact that this does benefit the Rovers.
-
England don't pay him though, we do.
I never said that England paid him.
I was getting at the fact that he was using 'fatigue' as a reason why he stepped down from the U21s, when many of us have 'fatigue' 365 days a year, without a summer to relax and recover. It annoys me that highly paid footballers don't expect to work like slaves and do stupid amounts of hours in order to receive their ridiculously high salaries.
Of course from a Rovers point of view, I don't dispute the fact that this is great news for Rovers - at the end of the days it's always club over country for me.
-
I asked Bentley at the end of the season, are you looking forward to the summer - he said no, I am not, I have to play football and I am absolutely knackered!!
Awwwww these players are really hard-done by aren't they?
I doubt Bentley does 65 hours a week, and not earning in a year what many footballers do in a week.
-
Does anyone actually think that Bentley should get Englands No.7 shirt ahead of Beckham? No, neither do I!Fife - I think many people's gripes were not with Beckham starting on the right, rather the endless conveyor belt of overrated midfielders that came on in the later stages of the game.
No I think I read it fine, thankyou very much!
-

I'm sure every Rovers fan was watching the same as I was - DOWNING?!?..........DYER?!?...........JENAS?!??????!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!???!?!?!?!?!? etc
Why not try a new player in a game that DOES NOT really matter? No, I know, let's play all the players that we are familiar with and then try the new players in the QUALIFIER.
What a complete prick McClaren is.
-
Um, Reading finished above us in the league, have similar supportand doyle is their star striker. Dream on!
I'm sorry but if we can only 'dream' about signing Reading players then we are in real trouble!
-
Anyone have Fabrice Bamba on their games? I think he's a regen plays for ASEC in the Ivory Coast (they can have some gems of players!). Started the game at Wrexham, and now Liverpool manager via Charlton and Fulham. My team in year 2015:
GK Richie Stroud
DR Alberto Balderas
DL Stavros Efthymiadis
DC Daniel Agger
DC Martin Wulff
MR Salomon Kalou
ML Thomas Hitzlsperger
MC Federico Sanna
MC Les Corderoy
FC Fabrice Bamba
FC Jose Munoz
Best signing ever: bought Lasse Qvist from Rovers for £9.25m - a class-act goal machine. I think he starts the game at FC Kobenhavn.
-
I think we should look at the following:
Kevin Doyle from Reading
Craig Bellamy from Liverpool
Harry Kewell from Liverpool
If Benni goes I think we should possibly look at bringing in Mido and a young star.
-
£8m, yes that would be brilliant.
Now where will we find somebody who can get 2nd top scorer in the Premiership for that price and will come here?
Pigs might fly I suppose
Hold on a minute. I can remember exactly the same conversation last year on here - oh great, we've made a profit on Bellers but who the hell are we going to sign that can replace him? We bought Benni Mac for £2.5m(ish). If we are to sell for over £8m then who's to say Hughes won't come up trumps again and sign another gem?
If he wants to go, there's no problem as I can see. I'm with Martin on this one - if he goes then so be it. He's banged a ###### load of goals in and we'll have made a very healthy profit on him.
Worst case scenario: we are in exactly the same scenario as last summer - looking for a top striker except with 8m more quid to spend (not even including TV money), a young Derbyshire established in the first team and still looking forward to European competition!
-
Bellamy just isnt in the same class finishing ability wise, at least with Benni he plays every game of the season, with Bellamy your getting a 20-30 game a season player.
- Just because Benni has played most games this season, doesn't mean to say the same would happen next season.
- Benni has been shyte in at least a third of the games he has played for us.
- I wouldn't agree that Bellamy doesn't have the finishing ability of McCarthy. You can't just compare a players one season goal tally with anothers and say he is the better player. I would say Bellamy is a cracking finisher (some of his goals last season were incredible) but just needs a top striker to play off.
- It isn't a nailed on certainty that Bellamy would be injured for half of the season again. It's like assuming we'll miss Ryan Nelsen, Andre Ooijer, Robbie Savage and Steven Reid next season just because we did this year.
-
So what? If any of the 4 champions league clubs want our players then they have the power to get them.
Any player under contract though, with the new tv deal, will cost them a fortune. If we don't get at least £10m for Benni, then why would Hughes sell him? (assuming, maybe stupid, no release clause)
Who's going to buy him for that much? Chelsea? Just let a bidding war commence then.
Exactly.
There's no point getting upset about anything. At the end of the day we all know Benni has got a big gob on him, but he's merely saying what all our players are thinking. You can bet your bottom dollar that Pedersen, Benni, Bentley, Emerton etc etc would all leave if a Champions League club came in, and I don't blame them to be honest.
I'd rather our players are in top form every season and attract attention from all the top four, rather than us being a club of mediocre Premiership journeymen. If Chelsea want McCarthy, I feel anything above £6m would be a decent deal - hopefully though a bidding war would commence and push it up.
For £6m we could either buy a direct replacement, or invest in a couple of perhaps lower league players for our longer term future. Either way, we are onto a winner - if there is no release clause then we can't do wrong. We can always REJECT bids remember.
-
-
we're going to lose him and the Axe (possibly Samba as well) when the African nations kicks off next january
For some reason I get the impression McCarthy aint too fussed about his International career and may pull out to play club football.
-
most foreign players struggle in their Premier League debuts
I think that's something of a myth.
-
At least he can control a ball and is a good finisher unlike Roberts.
Says the guy who posted in the Jason Roberts thread that we should sell Jason for £4m and buy Nonda and Luke Varney!?!
OK..................
-
The Hoff
The news were slating him today. Leave him be I say. We have all been in that position.
Didn't show anything about the Hoff when I clicked on that but a video showing the mess he is in:

Jan I think you're maybe dreaming up these race accusations. I know there have been claims that Cole, Yorke and McCarthy have been lazy at times, but I can't remember anyone ever really criticising Jason Roberts for any reason??? I think aswell a lot of people thought Nonda just wasn't good enough.
If it was a colour issue, then why is Samba fast becoming a club hero?
I think you need to provide us with some evidence before you start accusing sections of our support.
