And one more thing, a tea cake doesn't have fucking currants in it!
Sorry, you are wrong. I’m a Darwen baker’s son, and grew up in a bakery. A tea cake in this part of Lancashire has currants in it, one without is a plain teacake.

At least Cantwell is being honest in public about the situation, the board, the manager and the player himself are not forthcoming with the truth about the fact that he will be leaving. Just tell us what’s happening and we might have a bit more respect for you all.

Best performance I've seen, since Ismael arrived. You who stayed away, you missed it.
I’d say best performance at home all season, some terrific football and goals.

Decided to go to this one - yet to see Rovers win this season but that doesn’t matter because Rovers don’t win football matches any more
The Law of Averages says that Jim has to see an away win at some point. Hopefully tomorrow.

I totally agree that we need rid of Venkys and their stooges, but I cannot accept such an inept display from players who have given up the ghost like so many did tonight. They are getting paid thousands a week to try their guts out for the club, the fans deserve that at the least.

People should respect other people decision whether they chose to renew, buy one or decide not to. People shouldn't bully, harass or victimize for their decision.
Totally agree with you on this point, Chaddy.

Seems appropriate to have him here seeing that Plymouth at home was the first game he managed us, and it’s 30 yrs ago this year that we won the PL

And that performance is what makes you proud to be a Blackburn Rovers fan.

My feeling is that the approach by Derby is a while in the making. They suss out, via his agent, that Eustace would be very interested, find out the release clause details and how much of wage he wants. Then sack Paul Warne and within minutes the wheels are in motion to set up the appointment of him. Eustace is fed up of commuting, can’t stand Waggot and Suhail, and makes his mind very quickly to move. Next stage is yesterday’s semi cryptic interviews, a quick bye bye to the players this morning and, “how’s your father?”, it’s off to Derby at lunchtime. No matters of principle, just the usual baloney, and off you pop.

It’ll be a good test of the theory that the Raos, Waggot, Suhail etc don’t want promotion on who they appoint as the next manager. If the theory is correct, they’ll appoint a Kean/Coyle type.

By some miracle, we’re still in the top 6 after a poor run of form. You never know, we might stay in it for once.

Now 2 goals in 25 matches for Gueye. That’s prolific in this team
Classic comment Mr. MK2, love it.

I hope any Dingles haven’t got hold of tkts in the recently released home sections. I know you have to have an account registered before November this year to buy them, but some numpties could be buying them for Burnley supporting family and friends, or just to coin in.

He won't do that because he's a thieving, lying, lazy piece of shit.
Isn’t that just like the adults who buy under 12 season tickets for themselves to use, the first two descriptors at least.

A brilliant win in the circumstances of terrible weather and new Hull manager watching. These scruffy away wins are vital.

Looking at a brook in Tockholes, which is a raging torrent at present, I think the points about the pitch drains at Ewood not being able to feed into the R. Darwen are very valid.

if you think pickering is better than beck then you need to lay of the lsd,im`e one of the few that thinks pickering is ok but there is no way he`s a better player than beck
I said he’s a better defender than Beck, who in the last three games has been skinned alive by the right wingers of WBA, Watford and Sheffield Utd. Like so many modern full backs he looks good going forward, which makes folk think they are world beaters. A right back’s first priority should be to defend well.
-
Harry Pickering should be starting at LB, he’s a better defender than Beck, who got roasted again by the opposition RW. Beck looked much better further forward after Harry came on.

What would be the odds for Szmodic, Wharton and Brereton getting relegated this season.
And Rovers to pass them on the way up?

Absolutely appalling situation that the FA cannot immediately ban someone who has admitted to biting an opponent, equally bad that the club he is employed by pick him to play while he awaits punishment.

What a load of gonads. Brittain won’t play because he wants to talk to ‘Boro. Until they meet Rovers’ valuation he has no right to talk to them. I hope Venky’s do the usual and make him see out his contract.
