The back 5 vs Burton in his very first game was Steele, Williams, mulgrew, lenihan, nyambe. 6 windows later the only permanent addition the poor Bell and managed to downgrade Raya. Both Graham and Gallagher played in that game the former all but finished (although better than the rabble starting) and Gallagher is much worse. Arma is an improvement but on balance not much improvement. The midfield is 100% better than in his opening game. So in 3 years he’s pretty much only managed to strengthen the midfield.

Just how long does this guy need. At this rate we’ll have a better defence/attack sometime around 2025 and ready for a play off push. What will the debt be then £200 million.

The clocks ticking. 

I find it nearly impossible to motivate myself to go and watch Rovers particularly at home. Can’t get exited about the style football if there is a style. Can’t get exited about signings. Can’t get exited about a mid table slugfest. Most frustratingly it’ll be more of the same next season. Limping on killing time until we’re the next Bolton or god forbid Bury. 

For those who went it might be useful to write down the promises made or what the club claimed to “look into”. So when the next meeting happens hold them account for what they said in previous meetings. If nothing else when they trot out the same tired excuses next time there’ll be evidence to prove they’re just blagging it.

Rovers have had 8 draws 2 0-0. In all 6 scoring draws we were leading at some point. Giving points away.

Parky 3/9!!! Saqib 0/39 off 4 though. Not sure how Duckworth Lewis has possibly given the oppo a win when they were 193/6 with nos 7/8 in chasing 346. But won’t lose sleep over it in a warm up game.

At best we’ve got an average team, an average manager and absolutely no chance of getting in the playoffs.

Our back 5 vs burton in Tonys first game was Steele, Williams, mulgrew, lenihan, nyambe. 3 years on could have sent an sos to Brighton and got the band back together. On the basis Tosin/Walton will leave at the end of the season and Bell is turd that’s a worrying lack of progression.

Front 2 of a younger graham and better form Gallagher. So in 3 years there’s pretty much been improvements to the midfield. 

Perhaps the level of the Venkys interest is that they know Tonebola and Waggott aren’t to be trusted with their money. But the level of disinterest is such that can’t be bothered making a managerial change.
