Raya thing, depends who we bring in to replace him. If it's a John Ruddy-type then, providing we get a good fee with a sell-on, i'm not against it. Raya is a long-term project and if our aim is to go up in the next season or two we probably need better than he is right now. And I doubt he'll be happy to stick and around and play second fiddle after a season as a #1.

Bauer just got absolutely mugged off for Donny's second goal. Mulgrew-esque 'challenge' for a high ball from a corner. No thanks.

Is Leeds goalkeeper a professional? Makes Raya look like Ederson.

Paul Coutts and Martin Crainie let go by Sheffield United. We should be all over that.
-
If he were to sign, Joe Hart could easily be the next in a line of top keepers rehabilitated at Ewood. He would be an incredible asset in the Championship imo.

We were second best all night. I saw Norwich at Ewood and they were no great shakes, yet nicked three points. They have gone up because they have a decent team, manager and owners. We have the makings of a team, an average manager and really shit owners.
Do they have good owners? According to the Sky commentator they were a James Maddison sale away from administration last summer

Norwich appear to be full of the sort of 'from the continent' bargain players Mowbray claims he wants to sign. IF he does we could be in for an exciting season as we do already have the basis of a decent side.

Absolute stonewall penalty first half for Leeds too. That'll hurt.

Can't see past Villa in the playoffs either. Tough luck.

I say we persevere with Raya. He's still so young for a keeper and I think really has saved us as much as he's cost us. He needs to learn from his mistakes and evolve as the seasons progress but i think he's got it in him.
I agree he needs better competition and someone more experienced to work with though. A Camp or a Westwood type would be perfect.

Mathematically safe now too

Get in!

No chance we'll be in a relegation battle. We're just in a very painful, awkward limp towards the finishing line.

Bauer probably wouldnt come if Charlton are promoted and anyway we might be swapping leagues the way things are going right now.
He's out of contract at the end of the season isn't he and, last I heard, was refusing to sign a new one

We can’t do it even if we wanted
Really? Seems mad that.

You just know that if we recalled Downing the next game would find our defence a lot more secure. It won't happen but Tony really does over-complicate things.
-
Goes without saying, biggest game of the season this. Win and we're probably safe, lose and we're in real trouble and the crowd may turn. Draw would be rubbish but would at least keep Wigan at bay.

Jokanovic would be a strong shout

I am totally fed up with all the soundbites, platitudes and b 0 l l 0 c k s that I think Mowbray offers. Feck his purported values, I want an organised team that plays attractive football, entertains, gets decent results and can be seen to be progressing.
I challenge anyone to articulate a case for Mowbray remaining as Rovers' manager.
If WBA can sack Moore after a run of only three matches without a win, then it makes you think tbh. Why should their ambitions be greater than ours.

George Boateng appears to be working behind the scenes in some capacity. Could do with promoting him to the first team, help inject a bit of steel into some of our lot.
-
Bit disappointed it's only a two and half year deal, especially if he spends half a season of that out on loan!

Not in Boro team or on the bench

Knew that embarrassing over-celebration at Leeds would come back to haunt them.
