3 of the Soccer Saturday panel have gone for a draw but good ol Charlie Nicholas has gone for a Rovers win.
I'm going for a 3-1 win for us.

Jansen was going to take the best deal he was offered and it was obvious that some Prem clubs , especially North West clubs would be interested in him and if one of them offer him a deal he's gonna accept it over a offer from a Championship or League 1 or 2 club.
Don't think Rovers could have said to him , "we'll release you but you can only join Accy Stanley or Morecambe."
I for one will applaud him if he makes a appearance today.

Newells now asking for any other managers who have been offered bungs to come forward and back him up, be interesting to see if anybody comes forward.

If Matty does come on as sub I'm sure he will get a very good reception as we never got a chance to say goodbye to him.
-
We just need to make one change for the 2nd leg and that's for Dickov to start instead of Kuqi
-
SSN speculating that Man U new signing Patrice Evra won't be playing , so expect him to be in the starting line up then.
-
Good luck Matty, Rovers fans will never forget what you did for the club.

Losing to Wigan at the moment would not be considered a bad thing as they are playing some good football, but tonight they made 9 changes to the team that played on Saturday.
Souey was beaten by the reserves

I used to enjoy Best on Soccer Saturday with Jeff Stelling and Rodney Marsh.
Stelling: Do you remember what happened in 1981?
Best: I can't remember last night.
Best: We would go out and get into trouble, we would be fighting and have girl problems and drink problems
Stelling: Yeah but enough about last week.

A minutes silence to be observed before all this weekends Prem and League matches as a mark of respect.

George Best has died aged 59 RIP

Vinjay are you actually a Rovers supporter or do you just come on here to wind people up, who cares what happens to Hendry now, he left the club a long time ago to find maybe the grass isn't greener on the other side.
He was a great player for us but us loaning a player to Blackpool is just a football matter regardless of who is in charge at Bloomfield Road.
You complained when people made comments you didn't like on your dead wrestlers thread, now you come on this thread and make stupid posts.

Man Utd have also now lost their shirt sponsor Vodaphone at the end of the season.
Vodaphone have ended the deal as they will now sponsor the Champions League from next season.

World cup year and the NOTW do an entrapment job on Sven, just so they can sell a few more of their sleazy tabloid.
What Sven said about players is mostly true, Owen probaly went to Newcastle for the money, why else would he go.
Rooneys temper is probaly down to his upbringing.
Ferdinand is lazy and forgetful and not worth £30m.
If the NOTW set out to try and get him sacked I doubt they will succeed, it's too close to the World Cup to do that and anyway who would we get to replace him anyway, Fat Sam may have cut his chances after recent blasts at refs, Curbishly and Pearce have not yet been successful at club level to warrant a chance to manage at International level,
As for Mclaren his Boro side are going from bad to worse and a 7-0 tanking off Arsenal wouldnt have helped either.
Can't see the FA doing too much about it as they were the ones who set the meeting up, so they won't be happy about being duped either.
