  1. Hughes has thrown his hat in the ring and wiil wait and see what happens, Beckham has lots of options the USA is one but they have a wage cap so maybe difficult to to bring him on a budget, as for the Prem clubs I cant see any of the so called top four interested so that leave Spurs who already have about 15 midfielders, trhe toon who are struggling anyway, Bolton is another option if Big Sam can do a dodgy deal.

I think we have a chance and would like to see him in a Rovers shirt,. as for him saying he would never play for another prem club, anyone remember Rooney saying once a blue always a blue or Alan Smith saying he wouldnt join Man Utd.

  2. Fans on here will know about Souey and his lady luck well today she certainly was wearing a Bolton shirt , we cant be critisized for our effort which was great we came out of the blocks and really attacked Bolton, the first half seen us maybe score but I would like to see a video replay of that, shouts for a penalty as well late on in first half.

Second half seen us carry on with the attack on the Bolton goal and Wanderers attempts at time wasting when it was goaless and over 30 mins to go.

Then a camp spaniard gets a header to score from a set piece, after this we seem to lose the rythem of the game and really struggled, we get two penalties and Jussi time waste Jasskilinnen dives the right the right way.

All in all a game we should and could have won but the luck just wasnt there and as for Gamst maybe it's time for Peter to have a run in the side and remind Gamst he is not autoatic choice.

As for Diouf the guy is a diving cheating piece of scum who has no place in football, if he is a African player of the year then the people who decide that acolade know nothing about football.

  3. Hope that we dont have the first half hangover that we have suffered after the two previous games after playing in europe, I have the feeling of a draw once again after we fail to break down Boltons one dimensional play.

Expect the Bolton back line hoofing the ball up to the following strikers.

    Kev Fat boy Davies

Spit the dog Diouf who goes down quicker than a prossie

Nic I used to be good at Arsenal Anelka

  4. Just seen the highlights of Saturdays Soccer AM, and I can't see it posted anywhere else , but did anyone see the clip sent in by Bentley of Andy Todd doing an Impression of Robbie Savage and then a clip of Savage doing his karate impression as Andy Todd has just taken up karate.

  5. Mclaren's first game that did'nt result in a win and now he starts getting the flak, from the Macedonia game I can highlight 2 things wrong.

    1) Why is Stewart Downing even in the squad, he is not a International player.

    2) Rooney was picked on reputation , he has been awful for Man U and sticking him on the bench and putting Defoe up front would of been a better idea, Mclaren said that Rooney would burst back into forn in this game, sadly he didnt.

Our best chances were Gerrards shot against the woodwork and Gary Neville's shot at goal which I think even Jeffers would have scored from.

England head to Croatia with a little pressure on them to get the 3 points, maybe now is the time to put the 3-5-2 formation into practice and please play Wright Phillips from the start

  6. Another midlands Big Club in trouble :P

Villa players have their say over the running of the club

    Deadly Doug saving money by:

    Not having pitches watered

Stopped work on the new trainning complex

got rid of the masseur, and players have since clubbed together to get their own.

Refused to pay expenses to a physio after he claimed for a coffee he bought at a airport while on club duty.
