Guys .... they can't sell because

    1) Books will be open

    2) They can't write off the losses as they gotta pay SBI back..unless SBI writes it off as bad debt ,which RBI(Reserve Bank of INDIA) will come with pitch forks together with Finance Ministry and it's election year...

if only ROVERs trust or BRFCS takes out a one page in "TIMES OF INDIA" or start a twitter or facebook campaign ...

"MADE IN UK, DESTROYED IN INDIA"

    "RESCUE ROVERs"

"BLACKBURN ROVERS FANS looking for owners"

The books are open and have been since they took over - the FA - EPL before - have to see them every season so it’s a mute point you make.

There is NO money laundering through Rovers and BRFC are not under investigation NOR are they linked to anything Venkys have done with their Indian tax returns!

Has anyone actually lamented the performance? Looked a sense of overwhelming positivity and pride from where I’m sitting. If they have, then feel free to quote the posts and I’ll be delighted to eat my words.

Again, people always back the team.

Can’t help but think you’re seeing what you want to see here and spoiling for a row, so you can chill on your high horse again.

    a few snap shots KHOD

Really disappointed with the manager with those substitutions.

Might as well have thrown a white towel on the pitch and walked off. Before those two substitutions we were competing really well.

Okay, we have limitations but swapping a CB for another when needing a goal? Literally what is the point?

    Those substitutions

The subs were crap but that says more about our shite squad than Eustace.

And with them subs there goes the game

Markanday coming on - Eustace waving the white flag

    Koumetio is a bombscare

What on earth was the non-league level Liverpool lad doing then. They’ll be targeting him until the end if they have any sense

Koumetio. Good grief he is poor

The kid at left back looks like he has won a comp in the LET.  Awful

  3. Fans lamenting last nights performance need to give their bloody heads a wobble. NUFC squad/team last night was valued at some £250m with quality across the park versus a team that cost no more than £5m. Rovers battled each to a man, it was an impressive effort greatly appreciated by the fans in the ground, hence the reason why they were applauded off the pitch.

I left feeling proud to be a Rover which hasn't been the case for a good while. Even the Geordie fans I met were remarking just how unlucky we were.

The roof lifted when SS equalised, if only we can recreate that atmosphere for the few home games that we have left.

    Time to back the team!

One thing I will add to my suggestion that the court will not give permission to release the funds. If Waggott or the owners were sure they would, why when we have just broken our outgoing transfer record, are there no funds available?

I suspect that Waggott already either knows, or strongly suspects that there are no funds coming.

Irac the dates were put back in relation to the investigation NOT release of funding to BRFC.

There is always the chance that the financial investigations have uncovered more evidence since the last hearing. There were objections to the ruling last time, I'm sure there will be this time also.

Of course there is but there hasn’t! In fact some original allegations have been removed, two amended with a request to discharge a further allegation. On that basis the court will continue to approve and it’s a simple paper exercise.

venkys will provide a scapegoat as well as having political support so fat balaji won’t see the inside of a cell. Indian authorities still deal in brown envelopes!

the reporter who uncovered the saga hasn’t made anymore such allegations since! Maybe he has received such a brown envelope since🤫🤫🤫

  6. Reading this from my hotel in Singapore !

GMs comments seem to be constantly ignored, there has not been any winding up order issued it’s as simple as 1-2-3.

To date, despite what is uttered or written in here, no one has the gumption to properly organise a March of disdain/remove Waggot or venkys in fact some suggestions are imbecilic such as pitch invasions!

Those who think admin is the way forward think again! It isn’t an option.

The suggestion Rovers will have buyers is again living in cuckoo land. Venkys are ripe for a picking at this time and I believe IF there was a credible potential buyer out there there would be bids, reality is there is not!

Rovers are not under suspicion nor is the venky link to the club part of it, their issue are tax related issues to personal property purchases ie the purchase of a property and land through their business books NOT Rovers.

Those hoping for a court turnaround, a precedent is in place meaning unless the court sees a major issue nothing will change!

Looking forward to reading about organisational and positives in taking the protest forwards.

  7. Some members need to understand that any Indian investigation does not nor can it include anything to do with the football club - its is a tax related issue for Venkys in their country - I repeat what I said a few months ago IF Rovers were being investigated on the back of some related issue then the SFO would have raided Ewood and Brockhall and taken away every bit of paper linked to thenfootballmoperation - the offices of Venkys would have been stripped bare - none of this has happened nor will it happen in the future !

The Indian courts like UK and European courts work with precedents and on that basis there is little chance of the courts declining another request by the venkys UNLESS there is credible evidence of misuse of the funds that were released!

By all accounts a number of allegations have been discharged some have been watered down and their defence seems to be holding out - whatever the defence is sounding get over excited about a RAO getting bummed in an Indian gaol!

I met Brentford’s Strategic Advisor about 2 months ago. Very nice chap who also does a bit of motivational speaking and is actually a retired school teacher with no football background.

They had no plan until Christmas 2011, but did have owners and a CEO who were willing to listen. They realised that several plans could work, but would need alignment between all parties on whatever plan they chose. This required buy in from Owners, CEO, DoF, manager, players and fans. Also required patience.

They ultimately picked a player trading model (as they didn’t have resources at the time to compete with Championship clubs) coupled with a playing style that would be consistent throughout management changes to give the club identity and maximise player value.

To me, it sounds like Rovers are trying this too, but that we haven’t necessarily got the alignment correct or the communication. The positive is that there appears to be a plan, even if we don’t all agree with it.

You forgot to add the most important aspect of their footballing operation. They used an algorithm to scout their talent ensuring they got the best results from players who were relatively unknown and then working with their results ensuring a much better return both within the initial investment and when selling a player - Rovers have the ability to operate similarly but are hamstrung by the indecision and current processes they use from the owners - if they removed that obstacle then I am certain our footballing operation would be enhanced

  9. Mike and everyone associated with this project can be rightly proud of their sterling work. There are many good comments regarding the way forward - my take is that the club should be looking at the numbers on Saturday and compare them over the past 10 years and see what can be achieved with forward thinking and the involvement of the Fans Trust and others - there is a recipe for success SW and conned to buy into it 👍

  10. Whilst I wholeheartedly agree with everything that has been said about this so called Digital Day, I think a lot of people misunderstand the ability of our senior citizens to embrace modern technology.

I use my own 80yr old mother as a good example, competent on ipads, smart phones, e readers and streaming tv, there are many many out there who known more about tech than we give credit for.

And yes, I do know there are many who dont!
