and what is your knowledge, experience and intuition telling you?

It’s telling me someone in their business empire is going to jail 😅 - I cannot see it linking Rovers or the club it’s their business dealings that are under scrutiny Indianhave no jurisdiction over their UK operations that falls under SFO and as we all know nothing appears to be happening with them otherwise the whole footballing world would know of warrants being executed at Ewood, swags house and everyone else linked in the senior management team

Venkys overseas only relation to venkys London is the directors.

That being said, if they are looking at the overseas company, you can bet they are also looking at London too.

You plough £200 million into something which you in turn into share equity and its value don't increase,   then its got to be worth a second look by those investigating.

Regardless of Rovers statement, we have already seen the ripple effect at rovers during the last two months, with also cut backs and lack of investment into the squad.

Doing some research on Zedra, also throws up a worrying similarity in terms of where they do business and office from those darkest days. (Also paper trail of money which PhilipL presented to the Premier League)

The newly listed company which replaces the old one too, also list the uk bases director as the person of responsibility.

its too early to see where the investigation is going, though I'd imagine the properties seized will be temporary until they pay some sort of fine, which will be a fraction of the money in question.

I'd be interested where they transferred the initial funds from given Venkys India is a listed company with shareholders?

If this cash has dropped out of there and not personal wealth, I imagine this could be a massive problem, especially with their share prices also on a massive decline and sales being down by 60% I think I read somewhere.

    .

If any office in the UK was linked SFO would have raided it before property in India was seized to link and lion for corroboration of evidence such as bank accounts, documents and other lines of enquiry. They haven’t done so and that says to me it’s an Indian investigation only.

The statement from Rovers is poor

If found guilty of mortgage fraud, a defendant faces up to 12 months in jail and a fine on summary conviction, or, on indictment, to imprisonment for a maximum jail term of 10 years and/or a fine.

I am a professional mortgage broker, so know this inside out.

I doubt the sentencing guidelines in India do not reflect the UK’s!

UK law is far different than India’s or anywhere else for that matter!

  4. Clearly it’s a tax issue in India NOT the UK. Looking at it with a wide angle many in here can cast their minds back to 2011-2014 when it was suggested that all events and happening at the time could have been considered dodgy! My thoughts are that IF they are found to have committed offences such like in India then someone is going to prison and for a good few years ! It might be in their interest to offload the club asap unless they have a solid defence or alternatively scapegoat who can take the blame

  5. The biggest issue SW is failing in is his constant droning about how he wants to engage with the fans and support - he needs to tell the owners that the fans expect engagement and communication from them as well as he and that it’s now an urgent issue which is causing serious consternation

His was my favourite goal of the night, great team play and a cool finish.

Good save with his feet, sign of a good keeper that.

It's been the same in every game. It's only worked when the ball has found it's way to Wharton on the edge of the box and he can play those little through balls into the box (like the one Szmodics scored from at Rotherham)

The move ties up defenders who are there to defend players like SW leaving players free to move the ball, its a common tactic

  7. You have to question those that applied for tickets online being Roves fans and the tickets being in the home ends! Not only that apportioning blame onto others is purely laughable😁

Harrogate is only an hours drive down the A59, why didn't you just venture to their ticket office and buy them ? A much simpler plan and one which would probably have guaranteed a ticket without the aggravation you have all suffered (well those that have had tickets cancelled that is).

Using the same email addresses is a big no if you are buying or intending to buy in the home ends, its so easy to cross reference as checks are made as part of the policing of football matches.

I ordered the away and 3rd shirts and the away kids kit over a month ago online and still have nothing to show for it! Anybody else had any issues similar? I thought they would at least send out the adult shirts while awaiting stock of the kids kit which I believe is the hold up. £160 odd spent for nowt and the season ticks past...

Same here black and yellow shirts ordered some time ago. What annoyed me was the fact the order was in before the were on general sale but the mail order department forgot to post them out.

There is a backlog and supply issue which should be resolved next week I am told.

I have once again highlighted the lack of communication is a bloody huge problem which the club just cant seem to get their heads around!
