Not verified, but I did see a leaked photo of him on his first day at Brockhall:

That’s absolute trash as well! The lad had a thigh problem hence he hasn’t been fit to fully train and has been undergoing rehab and a mini pre season to catch up. Looking at him on Saturday showed he was as lean as a butchers dog and nowt like you suggest but then again……,,

  2. What negatives can we as fans take from todays game? Absolutely none! It was absolutely solid across the pitch even though wba had speed and big lads Rovers stood their ground worked hard and played to a system which worked well. Big shout on Leonard and Markanday who were both superb and deserved their goals. Travis led by example and was supported well through the middle.

Happy with the points we move on to Rotherham

TBF----We simply read what you write and draw conclusions. We're still awaiting the revolution you told us was round the corner but which you couldn't reveal details of for reasons of confidentiality.

    Hasn't happened has it?

then clearly your presumption/assumption and conclusions are wrong.

Some changes have been implemented, others are progressing and there have been a lot of restructuring behind he scenes.

There are huge steps still to be taken, some easy wins and some not so. At this time, I suspect that Rovers are prioritising the current issues, whatever they are, before anything else.

My main gripe of better communication - and its the same as many fans - needs serious attention something SW fails to realise or understand!

    Nowhere near, on both counts.

read JDT's comments, this years squad is even more stretched than last season. Rovers young ones are not experienced enough to last a full season especially in the Championship.

Cash flow issues, low crowds, minimal sponsorship deals whilst overall costs increase mean real monetary problems meaning administration is a reality looming.

So just your view to back up the crap you keep spouting then......

I have literally no reason to "talk shite" on the internet to nobodies like you, you either believe it or you don't, I have zero shits to give on it 🤣

    Just like you fella 🤪

Fittest player out there based on? You don't half talk some twaddle.

Based on me watching the 2 games in full - he ran up and down the pitch all game and gave it all compared to some of the players !

Twaddles was the shite you were told and which you the posted as gospel 😅

So despite a certain someone on here dismissing me saying Ennis turned up in terrible shape, it's blatantly true......at least he's in good hands to whip him into shape.

He has moved up a gear and is neither overweight or unfit, he made the goals set for him by the club fitness wise he has a minor injury and wasn’t to be risked.

JRC was the fittest player out on show yesterday which again debunks the info you were given!

I'd sooner criticise the club after forming a view based on the evidence I see and hear from various sources - including from third parties and other clubs - than meekly swallow every word club employees feed you without question and accept it as the gospel truth.

People like Waggott are literally paid to feed a line to the paying fans - that line being that everything is rosy in the Venky garden, that everyone is working together, that they're all doing a good job, that there is nothing at all wrong. You want to believe that line then it is clear Waggott has done his job on you.

I'd like to think I've got a bit more about me than to fall for such spin.

We will see if they actually do go on sale next week 'just in time for summer holidays'.

As I say, you've vociferously defended the Club on the kit issue for years, adamant that the Club has been utterly powerless in this and merely a victim of global supply and manufacturing issues. Once again nothing to do with us, not our fault. I don't accept that excuse. Just like I don't accept that running out of kits in October every year is good enough for a Championship football club supposedly desperate for cash.

And I'll keep on saying it and saying it until it changes and for as long as the club takes my season ticket money claiming to be hard up and struggling.

I found it much simpler to do a lot of research and then speak to him. You give him options to give answers and then challenge him with the result of your research only then do you get a proper answer!

to put it rather bluntly,it`s a waste of time trying to entice the muslim community to ewood,it`s been tried many times but in reality they ar`nt interested, they`ll turn up for the prayers on the pitch and the other events but when it comes to support they just don`t want to know, imo,we should be trying  everything to get the polish and east european kids in shad and other areas to interact with rovers, they are all crazy about the game

You are misguided with this view - Rovers have steadily seen more supporters from the Muslim community coming to watch games and they are well into Rovers. It’s great to see and we have a few who sit behind us and they enjoy the football and engage with other fans so long may it continue . It’s great to see that bigotry and racial hatred is not a thing at Ewood these days

    Spot on.

I guess this is just another example of laziness by the Exec Team, they signed a contract with a national caterer, easy, cheap and job done, sod the fans and the matchday experience. To give them come credit, we have Indian Street food, but the ambitions stops right there.

We have a plethora of outstanding food and drink outlets across Lancashire, the football club could boost the local economy whilst delivering an outstanding product on the concourses, but it takes a bit of extra work and back office staff to manage.

Nobody cares, we all know that.

Moving on from this I actually wrote to Rovers about the fan zone and how it can be completely improved to give the fan zone a much better experience. It also included how ti improve food and drink and I used the Bolton fan zone as an example.

At BWFC the fan zone is very well organised and well attended. Various food options, plenty of drink options, entertainment and football screens a plenty and it is superbly managed. When I last visited there was over 1000 people in there with plenty of standing and seating and the whole experience was great BUT fan orientated.

At Ewood, there is great scope to increase the fan zone area. Move the bars to the fencing adjacent to the river, place extra covering and seating where the original bar is, allow various food options, sell bottled beer and wine, have more tv/entertainment and so on.

Sadly, nothing has come back since which epitomises the current senior management team

You used to like going down to meetings at Ewood, 1864, didn’t you? *All sorts* of commercial improvements were on the way you told us ignorant fools.

You don’t mention them much now though… funny that 🤫

Ignorant fools ? Not sure about that !

There have been changes, there are further changes happening now and no doubt will do so in the future !

My own personal gripe is that Rovers and SW still haven’t grasped how to communicate with the fan base and this is probably why there are changes behind the scene around this particular topic.

Someone also asked if I think SW is a competent CEO well in short I don’t and never have even though I understand the operating conditions he is still way off the shortfalls I highlighted to him but then again I am not a CEO just a mere concerned fan

  12. I say kudos to the fans who go, the fans who take the notes etc.

Within the minutes it tells you the next meeting, there is a name, email and contact number so I say to those demanding answers, get down to the meeting or alternatively do as the minutes say and then you might get an answer deserving of your whinge🤫

  13. The issues around BBD are evident. Those saying we should have sold him may take into consideration that as far as I am aware we only had one "official" bid for him and none were from an English based club, the likes of Fulham, Leeds and Everton never actually materialised into concrete figures.

On his current form, he wont last long in Spain, no skill on the ground where it will be required and the defenders in that league do not take prisoners!
