3rd defeat in the spin out of the top 6 and any hope of a top6 finish diminished

You can’t knock them no matter how much you dislike them so congratulations to them the best team in this league . They will struggle and will now rebuild but will still drop down after next season.

It’s not just on the shoulders of Morton the midfield was overrun every time they came forward and YET not a change was made. To wait until the 88th minute for the opposition keeper to make a save makes a mockery of what we are trying to achieve it really was an awful game to watch apart from Sammy who ran his legs off and was my motm. Rovers were frightened of any forward momentum and Carter was shockingly poor constantly doing a Lowe and passing backwards - I’ve had a chance to evaluate the game as I drove home and nothing changes my mind about the blame being with JDT - he knew Thomas can’t play on Monday so why not play him today ? We needed speed so why wait until it’s too late to put TD on? We saw Gally having a typically shit game so why keep him on? All in all a huge let down🤬🤬

The blame for the shit show today lies with JDT wrong team wrong formation nor a team with a clue as to what is required!

Southampton would walk back up? Why? Norwich and Watford haven’t.
A number of reasons why.
A shed full of cash including player sales, parachute payments and crowds of 30k each game.
A real bunch of fabulous young players who will walk the Championship such as Armstrong A, Tella as two very good examples.
An academy that continues to excel (much like ours).
Neither of the teams you mention above have such a set of circumstances and indeed, I am not sure many clubs who have been relegated in recent years would compare either.

Bournemouth aside, who will be raped and pillaged player wise when they drop, the two promotion slots for next season are already taken by the two big clubs who drop down. So its a straight fight for the play offs 2023/24

Go back and read it again Chaddy cos you are heading down a blind alley.
He said that he's not happy that his work (where he is employed) is making him work over Easter on a Christian holiday. He has not mentioned anything to do with EFL games being played over Easter, nor is he complaining about them being played over Easter.
You have misunderstood his post and have thought he was saying games shouldn't be played on Good Friday / Easter Monday (or you have posted something completely irrelevant and quoted him!)
When somebody has pointed this out that he is complaining about his work and not the EFL, he says "exactly".
Easter is a religious festival and was synonymous with the church influence on society and goes back eons and so on. In todays world, the church, these days/times, has little influence on society and as such Easter is more or less just a normal period in time where things carry on although we still see lessened shopping hours and some curtailing of licencing hours.
Maybe the member who is "angry" at his work for making him/them/she/they work on this weekend should have a look at the work contract in place to see if there is any scope for change/challenge. After all, in todays society someone somewhere will find fault/issues and will find a way to challenge the ruling under religious grounds/discrimination circumstances!

Absolute must not lose.
Could Szmodics play in the Morton position?
Have to agree, a must not lose game

I disagree with a few views on him, he is and will be a quality player. Yes he has made mistakes but so have many Rovers players this season. He has an eye for a killer pass much like Buckley does but less is the bite in the tackle. He is fitter than either Wharton or Garrett ,more mobile and quicker. For those who still think there is an appearance clause, there isn’t nor us there ever with a Liverpool/Rovers loan.

If you waste as many opportunities as we did then you deserve nothing but a defeat incredible how we have lost this game

While technically true, this is a very blinkered view on the matter.
Technically true but blinkered ? Its reality where football players are concerned

Good point ! In one respect perhaps even more important as they are the proverbial " 6 pointers " ! In addition it's a shocking look on television, with acres of empty seats on display ... It might be an interesting conversation when Mr Waggott next rings India asking for an injection of funds,
" I understand you've just turned down 5,000 fans paying £30 a pop plus catering sales ... because your precious players don't want too many people shouting at them, I suppose you want us to provide this money instead ? "
Sadly and because of some half witted fuktards it would have been offset against £100k of damage again!

The acid test will always be with anyone that doesn't want to renew and whether they are allowed to run their deals down due to the owners stubbornness. That I can't see changing unfortunately.
But it would definitely be a boost to get Carter and Rankin Costello signed up. Dolan hasn't been mentioned but he should also be a priority.
So its nothing to do with the player himself?
If the player doesn't want to move he wont.
If there is no offer for the player from another club, he stays.
If he wants to run his contract down he can and the club can do fuck all about it! Nothing to do with owners/manager/CEO or agents, its the players choice and his alone.

It cracks me up for little ol bumley, they actually believe the biff who has said he has got tickets for the home end!

With the positive rhetoric at Ewood/Brockhall this week a win puts a top hat on a good week for Blackburn Rovers.

Weak hands, should have saved it. A good goalie saves that
I disagree, the ball was swerving away from him and was at pace and with these footballs he didn't have a chance in fact he did well to get a glove on it. We can agree to disagree on that!

Kaminski saves the Sheff Utd winner. In fact, any half decent keeper would have done.
you are kidding right?
A speculative shot at pace and with swerve? No keeper had a chance for it let alone TK. Prior to that he had kept us in the game with 2 one on one saves.
I read your posts and really wonder at times why you are not employed in the higher echelons of the football world instead of lounging and posting n message boards like this😀.
He doenst deserve to be dropped he is there on merit

I would change Pears for Kaminski, before, he loses us a game, not after it. I give him great praise for coming in and doing a good job, but he is our second choice keeper. I am just grateful that our first choice keeper is back, and very little damage was done whilst he was out injured.
I cannot believe you actually wrote this about Pears, the lad has been nothing short of magnificent in the sticks whilst TK has been out injured.
He had a horrific set of games previously and I never thought he would ever recover after his abortion of a game at Wigan in the cup. However, and fair play to both him and the coaches, the lad has come on leaps and bounds and has shown exactly the ability that Mowbray and co saw in him.
So, if you ask me this shows two things, he is a bloody good keeper and wasn't a signing as a family member and that also, despite some on here saying otherwise, Benson and co actually know what they are doing with goalkeepers!

I wouldn't say seriously wrong. A price cut is very uncharacteristic of Waggott and Rovers but it isn't a massive cut, and there are strings attached again.
I'm not criticising them because I expected a price hike as we've had every year before this but it's hardly revolutionary stuff, just a small saving if you do it quickly, and I wouldn't describe the end of March as 'early' to release prices. Earlier yes, but in the scheme of things not early. Some clubs have them on sale in January and have sold 10,000+ before we announce prices.
Every little helps but for some the actual act of giving credit seems such a hard thing to do

Not sure why you're on the wind up (over use of emojis) over this? £379 is still more than it should be? It's not going to get 1000s more back buying season tickets (unless we end up in the Premier League)
I am not winding him more proving a point about the negative post previously posted about ST prices

The best we'll see is a price freeze of this seasons prices I think.
Which will still mean a £30 increase for anyone who is a holder from before this season.
Wrong so seriously wrong like others😂
the club have actually listened and kept to their word about early release of ticket prices
