[Archived] Ps3 To Hdmi

Iv connected my PS3 to my new LCD HDTV and for some reason it isnt working.

The sound is coming through, but the picture is just blank. Does anyone know why?

Does the PS3 have a setting that needs changing or something?

Any help would be good. Thanks

Hughsey- were you using scart before, now becasue of the new tele you have used HDMI?

if so, (i have changed my PS3 between 2 tvs a few times) you need to hold down the on button for a good 20 seconds when turning it on- you will hear a second bleep.

it then resets to HDMI and you should see it.

In the end i connected it via scart and went into the settings on the ps3, changed that and now its working fine on HDMI.
