philipl Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 According to this, Real Madrid signed an agreement with Ronaldo's agent that they would either bid for the player this summer or pay a E30m forfeit to the agent. Is that allowed in the FIFA/UEFA/ La Liga rule books???

Iceman Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Its another case of a big club exploiting the fact, that they can do as they please without getting into trouble for it. This has been going on for quite some time, and should have been dealt with by Fifa/Uefa. The money being thrown around is ridiculous, and proves my point that this whole recession is not affecting everybody it seems.

Its just Real up to their old tricks again - they will probably try and sign him, but they will try to get him for less than market value, thats for sure! Just normal old Real, unsettling players and putting stories in the media.
