Footy photos from that time are cool - nowadays they're mostly closeups of players but back then its a whole shot of players, pitch, stadium etc. Nice! that someone found some interest from them and yes the photos gave you a truer picture, you could almost suck in the atmosphere or fell the pain in a crunching tackle.
