Do we know if Duru's loan looks set to be made permanent? 

I would still rate him as a back-up to Alebiosu if we can keep them (lol no chance for Alebiosu)

I think its a forgone conclusion, and always has been, despite Rovers attempts to make it appear otherwise

I had assumed so, but it looks like he only played 2 games through autumn, which didn't exactly seem a sign of a team desperate to keep him.

I think he was always once for the future for San Diego, and as long as they triggered the option to keep him on loan until June, I think it was likley they will also trigger the permanent opton
