Popular Post StHelensRover Posted yesterday at 10:39 Popular Post Posted yesterday at 10:39 (edited) Great article. We all know the root cause, it's the fifteen year old elephant in the room. Enough of naysayers saying we should be grateful of their pitiful stewardship of the club. This club will never be anything we can be proud of again until these owners leave. They have not improved one single thing about Blackburn Rovers FC since they bought it in 2010. They have made it worse in so many ways that I have lost count. People need to stop settling for what the Venkys offer, which is absolutely no ambition, mediocrity at best and a bargain basement approach to running one of England's greatest football clubs. They need to go. Once they have gone, we'll deal with whatever comes next. Edited yesterday at 10:42 by StHelensRover 11 Quote
... Posted yesterday at 14:51 Posted yesterday at 14:51 Actually miss weaving through traffic (on foot!) On matchdays sea of Blue and White Down Livesey Branch all culminating in a mass, as the Bolton Road bunch hit Kidder St and Nuttall St 😢 Quote
Tomphil2 Posted yesterday at 14:55 Posted yesterday at 14:55 They've actually broken just about every record that you don't want breaking whilst they've been here except a trip to the 4th tier. Most would put their last quid on that happening before any appearance in the Prem again. Ignorant wealthy clowns who employ self serving pocket filling puppets. 1 Quote
Mattyblue Posted yesterday at 15:10 Posted yesterday at 15:10 It's the little things that (almost) grate as much. Making Blues Bar a beige shell, stripped of all Rovers memorabilia, a sports bar that doesn't even have a subscription for sport channels. The ground being in a state of disrepair and rot. Actively trying to empty out the Blackburn End Removing the history timelime murals (maybe it would have helped them remember when we last won the FA Cup). A club shop containing largely cheap tat (that doesn't even open on some working days). The 150th being a shambles from day one. A lack of care, attention, affection for such a fantastic, historic football club that goes back to the very beginning of the sport in this country. 6 Quote

Tomphil2 Posted yesterday at 17:51 Posted yesterday at 17:51 Some might say they've been increasingly far more interested in the corporate coin than those on the terraces. Again you reap what you sow and if they've invested time, money and thinking into all that then about time they did the same with regular fans. However when you have an over promoted grifter suddenly deciding who he wants in the already sparse stadium and where he wants them you realise the issues we are up against. SELF serving, self protecting, career first ladder climbers and wage takers. 1 Quote
