Watched Memento for the first time last night, very good film don't know how I missed it until now.
You've seen it three times before, mate.

So worth three minutes of your time. -

Yeovil did it against Plymouthin the FA Cup in 2004.

According to Marca, when Jermaine Pennant got his loan move back to England, he left his Porsche at the train station in Zaragoza. After it sat there for five months, the club sent someone to pick it up, who found that Pennant had left the keys on the seat of the car.

Was gonna post a list of films to look forward to in 2011, but then I found this, and why bother ever watching another film?

Edit: Wrong thread. Oops.
Since I'm here, True Grit was decent - not the awesome Coen fare I'm used to, but still pretty good. The King's Speech was surprisingly good, too. Never ever liked Colin Firth but he was great.

Just two days later and he already has a job offer as an announcer for the Cavs, who are also gonna give him a brand new house.
I love the internet.

Tron Legacy is cracking.
It's ###### awful. Pisspoor script and worst dialogue of all time can't be fixed with average graphics and a phoned-in Daft Punk soundtrack.

Anyone going to see The Social Network next month?
*Hibernates from geek beaters*
Did you see it yet? Went earlier this week and thought it was fantastic.
-
Yes. It seriously looks brilliant.

You left before the end credits didn't you ? The soundtrack actually ends with this being done
But for those that have seen inception (and if you haven't please please don't follow the link, it will ruin one of the best films in years) you should read THIS . It will change your view of the film (only one person I know of twigged this BEFORE reading the article), you realise you've been tricked, but in a good way. It's as if you'd missed the last 5 mins of the Usual Suspects and instead read the "Verbal Kent is Kaiser Sozey and this is why" reveal online, rather than in the film. There were so many things nagging me about Inception that I put down to Nolan being a little sloppy because he needed to keep the pace of the film up, now I realise it wasn't sloppy at all.
Stayed through most of the credits both times but never figured it out. I'm slow. But I had the same idea as posted in your link. Cool nonetheless.

By chance did she have a sex scene in it?
If not I am shocked.
She didn't. Didn't you notice I said it was crap?

I saw Salt last night. It's excellent, save for the ludicrous sequence in which Angelina poses as a bloke.
Thought it was terribly average. Plot holes as wide as the English Channel (why would nuclear weapons be launched with a system that seems to be Windows 3.1?) and pretty nondescript action scenes.

Not as good as their last album, which tbh was overrated anyway. They're a bit like Interpol - critical darlings who could release any old tosh and it would instantly get 5-star reviews by the self appointed 'serious' music press.
FTFY.

What does everyone make of the new Arcade Fire? It looks set to catapult them up with the biggest bands in the world going by the midweek sales/publicity/reviews.
Was pretty underwhelmed by it at first but it is growing on me. Doesn't come close to Funeral though.
Only listened to it twice, so it might grow on me, but it's terrible so far. Boring. Another step backwards from Funeral. Can't believe how positive the reviews have been. The songs seem like diluted versions of Neon Bible, albeit with far-less interesting subject matter. Worst of all, the production is terrible. For such a loud, intense band the CD is far too muted - you can barely distinguish Win's voice.

I'm in the legalise camp. Only last week the US governemnt finally adjusted sentencing times for people convicted of crack vs. powder cocaine possession/dealing making them equal. Previously people caught with crack were treated far more harshly than people caught with powder. It's still not right but they are at least thinking.
Still not equal. The ratio used to be 100-1, meaning if you had 1g of crack cocaine they'd sentence you as if you had 100g of powdered cocaine. Now they've reduced the ratio to 18-1 via the Fair Sentencing Act.
