  1. It was attempted in the BBE lower after we went 2-0 up, but was met with bewilderment and dissolved into fits of laughter.

Someone posted an MP3 in the Feyenoord thread.

  2. Any idea of the tune, or any of the words?

Only one I can think of both sets of fans singing is the one about the European Cup.

Liverpool: "We've won it five times, we've won it five tiiiiiimes! In Istanbul, we won it five times."

United: "We've won it two times, we've won it two tiiiiiimes! Without killing anyone, we've won it two times."

  3. Pick32: Joe Garner, first team material? No offence to the lad, I've seen him have some decent games for the Academy, but he's not got a chance at the moment.

Because he has ... been very succesful in the reserves.

    According to Rovers.co.uk:

    2006 Reserve Appearances 3 Goals 1

(Granted this doesn't include a hat-trick against Tranmere in the Pontins League Cup)

    2005 Reserve Appearances 12 (2 sub) Goals 2

he has been turning teams such as man utd and chelsea down

    Don't be silly.

  4. bellamy11-Vinjay does make good points but when he actively refuses efforts made to meet with him and placate him then he does undermine himself. If he truely wanted to know answers then this would be far more preferable than the fans protest which would keep him anonymous.

Vinjay-What efforts? I e-mailed the club on 2 occasions and recieved no response. I no longer believe I can make a difference on my own without support from other fans.

    Liar, liar. Pants on fire.

  5. The most unbelievable event in Krakov that I heard about was some d1ckhead putting his head through a plate glass shop window for no reason. He'd tried one shop already but couldn't smash the first so he 'did' the next! Hospital visit ensued resulting in a forehead full of stitches and him being allowed to keep his X-Ray which he displayed as a 'trophy'!

Don't know the guy personally but I've heard a different story from a friend of his. Rather than any moronic act of self-aggrandizement, apparently he stumbled and fell through the window after drinking far too much. Which, especially given the price and availability of beer there, is quite an easy thing to do. We saw a number of people severely worse for wear after the game, and not only Rovers fans. It merely makes him a drunken fool, rather than a d1ckhead.

And how many people posting here aren't drunken fools? I bet you're off your face right now.

  7. I was in Frankfurt from Friday until Monday and didn't see any trouble at all, aside from a few silly drunks. Heard that there were a few scuffles on the Friday after Germany won, but didn't see anything as we were outside the city centre that night. To be honest I expected far worse and was pleasantly surprised by how well everyone got on.

Agree about how welcoming the Germans have been, didn't meet a single unfriendly person on the whole trip.

  8. Nope it just means less money in the fans coffers and more to the players and their agents.  The vulgar display of extreme wealth and even more extreme bad taste on the players car park will get increasingly er extreme.( blink.gif

Everybody should take a look on the BBurn End car park down at the Riverside corner......... it's like a 'drug dealers meet black rappers' convention down there.

Are you a Puritan or something?

  9. Hargreaves to scrape into the squad simply because he knows Germany well, and can tell some of the players what to expect at the grounds.

Seats? Grass? Does he have to be a member of the squad just so he can tell everyone about which ground sells the best sausages?
