  1. In this weeks episode of the journey:

Dodgy Tony the bus driver resets the destination on the sat nav while keeping the meter running

The passengers shout in unison "haven't we been past that bit before"

The bus company owners are still watching the cricket and not answering their phones

    (Eastenders dramatic drum roll)

I had a look too & concluded that Kolkata & Rajasthan’s owners seemed most likely to be interested due to their other ventures. I realise it doesn’t always work that way, but Lachlan Murdoch (son of Rupert) part-owning Rajasthan seems a more likely investor in an English football team to me than say Chennai’s owner who’s background is concrete.

I am sure it’s all hypothetical and nothing comes from it, but it’s a least a glimmer of hope…

Mukesh Ambani owner of Mumbai Indians is also heavily involved in the India Super League (football)   Link ,so with that and proximity to  the V's of the Cricket team , my guess on the pure speculation lies here.

i think the taps are off as they plan to remove TM don't see them selling or opening the ownership up

All pure speculation of course, but would be a good way for them to save face and even boost their own profile , a joint venture with the owner of a IPL team, with the (investor) eventually becoming the majority owner.

And guess what ?   This guy operates around Staffordshire & Midlands etc normally.

More contracting out to save 10p by the fat man ?

If you read the tweet thread he is just visiting the training ground (standing outside), then doing some stuff /workshops in Clitheroe Tomorrow.

He'd have the plumbers doing the electrics, the brickies doing the plumbing and the roofer designing the pitches. It would go massively over budget and then have to be torn down for not meeting quality standards.

But all that will be ignored because of the praise for loaning a couple of apprentices in that can't get on the job for their proper firms 🙂

  6. Thank F***, that the Coventrio didn't get the go ahead for the Academy re-build. Could you imagine three years down the line the building not being finished and having to start the build again because the head foreman Tony had the radical idea to put jelly down as foundations and entry doors on the roof.

Tony Mowbray facing up to a huge Rovers rebuild this summer | Lancashire Telegraph

Quite clear that Sharpe believes Mowbray is staying.

A second season with no visits to Ewood Park for me.

Why would I pay good money to watch a team whose manager doesn't care where we finish in the table?

Wonder how a long a manager at one of Venky's broiler processing plants stating publicly  he does not care if they process 1 or 100,000 units per day would last?

Not very helpful for those of us not on Twitter is it?

It also says it’s not available for non-season pass holders. I have a season pass. It would help if they at least said what network is broadcasting it internationally but you can’t get that info anywhere from iFollow or the Rovers website.

    Always worth checking this site

So they don’t trust him on recruitment, they have reduced his power, ‘others’ are making signings, the results are significantly worse... so he’s being kept on, because?

same as 2011/2012, they are confused and he "works" long hours and is a "nice" man, the ideal traits for a broiler manager in Venky world

  10. Regarding Macron

Within the extended family here, there are a few different Macron  Perth Glory shirts knocking about and still worn. Might be a year out but think the oldest one is about 2014, from casual viewing they still look in good condition.

Obviously most of the adults are worn going to the games on a casual basis etc but know the kids wear them constantly for kick a bouts in the park every week etc.

Don't own any myself purple a bit close to claret for my liking.

So from a small sample quality seems ok.

What's far worse is trying to reason with someone who will change their mind in a few months when Mowbray wins a few games.

I imagine a hastily arranged  - an evening with.....  with TM reciting scripts from when the boat comes in, jumpers for goalposts etc will have a few defending his every word and action again.
