What---nothing for the defence again?!!
Defenders are in another treasure chest , on the back of a tuk tuk, last seen delayed at the Indian/ Pakistan border because of insufficient postage. They are still coming though 🙂

That something you've heard? Surely not
Yep, bloke who was working on the digger in the Suez canal saw it being transferred from the slow boat that set off from India in 2012, that was stuck in the traffic jam

When is that 10 mile wide Asteroid due?
No idea but latest reports that it is carrying a 50 million transfer fund war chest

Thanks and I've now bookmarked that link!
So our billionaire owners could just sign the cheque if they were asked to.
Who knows, I am pretty sure if the commercial fryer at the Venky's XPRS in down town Pune broke , they would not suggest using a candle under a frying pan to make do 🙂
All part of the maintenance and wear and tear associated with owing a business you would think.

Is money spent on pitch repair outside of FFP?
As it is part of the stadium I presume it is exempt from inclusion in the FFP calculations

3. What is covered by FFP?
Clubs need to balance football-related expenditure - transfers and wages - with television and ticket income, plus revenues raised by their commercial departments. Money spent on stadiums, training facilities, youth development or community projects is exempt.

A pitch is a difficult thing to fund actually. Risk is very high and maybe the interest was too much for Venkys to guarantee.
A building on the other hand on prime Real Estate is very low risk. Maybe he was getting the funding together for both projects and now the profit bit has fallen through he can no longer afford the other bit (Ewood pitch). Just a theory
Sounds plausible but remember we have been told that Venky's the Indian Billionaires never refuse to sign a cheque
Considering a decent pitch is somewhat crucial to the business at their Ewood Park franchise, should really be a no-brainer.

Apparently Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu (Luton) is out of contract at the end of June. Bit of a nuisance in midfield (quite noticeable against Rovers) and can drop back into central defence as a temporary measure.
Would certainly out some bite into midfield and only 28 in July

Next season Carter will be good cover when Ayala gets injured.
Do you think Carter will be ready to play a 45 Championship game season? 🙂

I'm sure I read he's had a bad run of injuries this season, so sounds like a proper Mowbray signing
Also surprisingly no teeside link , but once worked in the cafe at a Debenhams (according to wiki) so can handle a nice bit of lemon drizzle ;)

No doubt when season ticket sales are down again people will just expect Venkys to put their hands in their pockets again (and get untold stick for it not being enough).
And your problem with this is ? They created the mess

Best one this morning on facebook is mowbray being compared to Ferguson, from someone old enough to know better!
No comparison, Ferguson rushes to finish his Journey (especially when he needs a shit 😉 )

Incredible end of the season story at the minute.
Added bonus is we can switch to watch the final 10 mins of Derby v Sheff W after the Rovers game as finished, could be the biggest viewing figures of the day
Wednesday 3-2 up

When your twitter alert goes into overdrive and see the city where you live trending , fear the worse of another covid outbreak, only to find out it is a load of bloody teenage girls tweeting about some k-pop singer from a group who is wearing a new brand of eyeliner who decided to call himself the same name as the city
