Why is Mowbray seemingly incapable of winning a Cup tie - even one against a side from a Division or 2 below us?
My guess is a timeshare that needs to take in late Jan/ early Feb every year. Will be sat there now watching Swansea v Southampton with fingers crossed for a Swansea win, Whitley Bay caravan Park here we come 🙂

Wow - had no idea Channel 10 was streaming FA cup games now. That's new!
Thanks a lot for the tip - already got an account anyway so all good.
Moving into sport in a big way now they have the financial muscle of CBSViacom behind them

Will this be showing on the Rovers site for international viewers?
Don't think it will be available on Rovers TV.
But, if you are in Australia (physically or virtually) Channel 10 are streaming all (I Think ) FA cup games, Rovers game in schedule), on their website
10 play.com.au
You have to sign up for an account to watch (its FREE, generic gmail and vpn should do it )

'Just wondering what the EFL will have to say about this bonus, if it is new and in addition to current contracts.
Lets not forget that this is the same lot that dragged Andy Holt up in front of them for buying Accy players McDonalds when they won a game.

NFTs will take over in the next 5-10 years and - much like Crypto - there’s serious money to be made. There’s also tonnes of con artists already swarming all over it.
Think I will give Venkoin a miss when it launches 🙂

Why don’t Brfcs arrange tidy up at the ground? Plenty of posts in this thread, I’m sure many would give the time.

Jesus christ!
Come on SG194 get into the spirit of things, its not like we have multi millionaire owners who promised to respect the Jack walker legacy.
How many people on here know how to use a sewing machine? Maybe if there are enough volunteers we can make some kits for the club to sell when they eventually run out, if we start a go fund me we can buy the material from Macron.

Where in central Blackburn would they find a site covering 150 acres?
How confident are you that it is 150 acres and not 130 ? and was the price 2.8 million

Shame they can't find some land more central in blackburn itself
At a guess maybe the driving force behind buying land in the Ribble Valley is not to build a academy on it, depending on the size of the "substantial" block , parts of it could also be sold off later for a new housing development, better future return per sqm in the RV than in the BWD boundary providing all planning permission is acquired. Coupled with the current Academy land being freed up and the directors of Venkateshwara London Ltd seem to be all the VH finance guys so probably crunched the numbers.

Oh yes I do know that. My response is to the above post from Spartakfenni which has Venkys selling the academy to build a new one and giving the profits to the Club.
Unless the new academy is a tin shed on a carpark I'm struggling to see where this immense profit lies.
Apologies, I thought you were part of this conversation!
Which will be a big upgrade on the last one the V's promised to build, the Rovers Academy in Pune, which as neither a tin shed or a car park 10 years on
