Thought we weren't allowed to discuss religion.
Bans for Flopsy and Matt, then!
I enjoyed watching Fred Clause the other day.
Should I be banned too for enjoying such a movie?
-
Said the Englishman.
Your point being?
It at least gives me authority to talk about my previous country.
-
I've just stopped laughing.
Thankyou to Mr McClaren and his overpaid superstars for saving us from watching you in Euro 2008.
Here's to a technically superior group of teams hopefully entertaining us come next June.
-
This is probably a stupid question; Why is there a sign at the Blackburn End which says; "Please no bad language Don"?
I don't know though I should have listened
-
He's a very good player, I think people forget that he is only 22. You'd be jealous of any other international side if they had him and you'd worship him if he played for Blackburn. He's got a temper, but he actually seems like a decent person when you see him interviewed and things. The problem is that the culture in modern day football almost encourages the bad traits that you see in him and others.
I wouldn't be suprised if you argued that the Pope was a Protestant.

yes i went ...i tried tummy ache ,i tried having a strop in asda but twas no good.Queued for ages .WHAT A LOAD A TOSH ,THERE WAS NO STORY EITHER JUST A FEW GEEEKS PLAYING WITH THEIR WANDS ...BORING.MIND YOU I HAVE ONLY EVER SEEN THE FIRST ONE AND THAT WAS PANTS TOO.
H I know you can relate to the broomsticks hahaahahahahaha
I don't think it's supposed to be on a par with Shakespeare or Checkov. It's actually aimed at teenagers but adults often enjoy the escapism of it.
hahahahaglad you enjoyed it as much as me then
You must be in your 20's at a guess or Saw movies are your cup of tea?
Personally I'm looking forward to watching it and the likes of Transformers as it's good to escape the seriousness of everyday life and events.

climate change. Its awfully good fun isnt it. I expect a really hot october and the water compaines to claim that its drought conditions
Lets hope so.
Anything would be a welcome change for a couple of weeks from the Southern Hemisphere's winter/spring.
-
Isn't it all to do with the weakening of El Nino?
Following extended periords of drought in many parts of the world it's now pissing down in those places.
Parts of Victoria and NSW have been flooded. Hasn't parts of the US also been affected by floods?
-
Kudos to Hughes for looking after one his players and one of the best ones at that.
Talk of Bentley's England career being in jeopardy is probably being a wee short-sighted.
A move to a big club and he'd be reselected as quickly as a rat leaves a sinking ship.
However I'm hopeful he'll be reselected if his current form the Rovers continues into next season.
-
Oh and something else that just came to mind - did I hear people actually booing Beckham when he got on the ball?! If I heard correctly, then some of our "fans," are an utter disgrace.
You must have slightly misheard.
It appears that boos were directed at Lampard:

Should he stay or should he go?
Is he unsure which way to go?
Whatever happens the Bob Flephming chap will keep us entertained.
I couldn't care either way what the overpaid pro does. BRFC will live on.
-
We've always been a selling club apart from a brief era in the early to mid 1990's.
I just hope we get the going rate for a 20+ goalscorer (assuming the report is true).
-
I fear SteB is obsessed with Vinjay.
Let it go Ste.
-
If you have sons and daughters, you haven't left it the way you found it!!
Quite true but I'd have had fun occasionally
-
From his site:
"This site is something to be taken seriously. I particularly hope that intelligent contributors such as Exiled In Toronto, Revidge Blue and Jim Mk2 will decide to sign up. People who can see the faults of this club and are not afraid to publicly state those faults. This site will begin to grown in due course and will begin to become at the least a creditable no 3 to the big 2. We offer something different here. Free speech and an opportunity to say what you really feel.
Vinjay"
Please Jim, do it.
He loves the BRISA crew:
"I would have thought the members of BRISA would want to allow me my own forum without posting petty "insults" and crude jokes. Still if you want to drag your organisation further into the mud that's fine with me. A premier league football fans group that has 10 members show up at a meeting can't be taken seriously anyway."
-
His change of identity is perfectly understandable in that case ....
All five of them?
Come now BP you consider yourself educated and up to speed with events.
Do keep up or shut up
-
Are you a Moderator?
That wasn't my question.
In your previous guise you purported to hail from Australia.
One would therefore assume you'd know what the Australian media's view was.
-
Hes tarnished his reputation with whole of the football world and fans with his greed though. He will now be known as a player with no ambition, and any of those reckless tackles he makes now will be magnified a whole lot more then they were while he was at rovers.
It'd be interesting to see what Sparky really thinks of Lucas's move I bet he's disgusted with the guy, and its good to see that Lucas wasnt one of Brett best mates at the club!
To any australians, What has the australian media made of Mr.greedy's move to West ham?

Couple that with members who create 5 different accounts so they can post sh1te and then have the cheek to take a pop at mods/admin when they get pulled up on it.
Mods who lick Lee's asshole and ban people who Lee dont like
People who bitch about the rule, but will ultimately be get banned for.
1) Multiple accounts, one of which has already been banned.
wakefieldrawks, todd_could_take_tyson, Mortens_leftpeg aka Morten is God, judasmoreloyalthanneil, RobertsBanjodoor spring to mind.
todd-could-take-tyson are you AxesFirstTouch?
How do you keep creeping back on?

One could argue he wanted a fresh challenge.
He probably would have preferred Liverpool but needs regular games. He is the current captain of Australia and wouldn't want part time performances affecting his selection.
Australia are also planning on basing their next few matches in London. That, coupled with allure of living in London, may well have influenced his decision.
-
Since he's returned we have lost how many games?
-
It nearly three in Uk now, when it is, it will be 01:20 in the morning so its 21st in Australia.
I know. was directed at myself.
Sorry if anyone thought it was directed at unleaded.
-
At this late hour I failed to notice which Telegraph it was!
-
Unleaded in the link you posted re Neill to West Ham, it is the Sunday Telegraph dated 21.1.07
Just how early do they print papers these days?
-
It's been raining cats and dogs here.
Most welcome it is too.
