God, what I would give to be a fly on the wall for Tonys visit to India.
-
Simmonds with the under 23s is the fastest at the club seemingly Who is the fastest senior player? Armstrong, Lenihan or Nyambe be my guesses
-
If available, bringing him back seems a no brainer. Tailed off a bit after his initial impact, but more to come from him I reckon

You don't help yourself sometimes Chaddy
-
Absolute rag of the highest order
-
I am sure it will be clarified soon
-
I don't think the club needs to release an official statement to counteract a gossip box in an absolute rag. The LT should ask Tony and I am sure that they will. A few months ago the Daily mail ran an article about Dack ,using a tweet from a tony Mowbray parody account on twitter in which fake Tony said ,and I paraphrase, that if Dack doesn't knuckle down he will get a punch in the face off Mowbray. Absolute idiots work for these papers. They are capable of writing any BS.

The club shouldn't be bombarded every time Nixon or his ilk post nonsense. Nor should they be expected to release statements counter arguing a gossip box in the sun. I'm sure Rich Sharp will tweet some clarification on this shortly
-
Is weird that nobody has heard anything in relation to this before it appears in a gossip box in the sun Hopefully we get some clarification on this from a real source. I wouldn't put it past the sun using quotes out of context.

Always something. This would seem extremely unfair on us considering we have spent @#/? all!!!!!!!!!

Ya, he really had a lot of adapting to do. Coming from the tropical climates of Glasgow to a couple of hundred miles down the road. Maybe more efforts should have been made with language classes and cultural training
-
Ya, that is true. We are due someone we are excited about delivering though. Going off reading their Forum, he sounds like their Dack. Not a bad word to be found.
-
Sounds like an exciting signing if true
-
A bit harsh that. Good squad player and senior head to have around the place. I don't think offering Conway a new deal will make or break our transfer budget. I would have been on the fence myself, but hardly a "very worrying" development
-
He is worth a look and around 15 million, so not going to happen!

Byrne was rated so highly in Ireland that the "next Roy Keane" was being bandied about. He won't be that, but I am surprised he is fluting around with Oldham in League 1 at this stage to be honest.
-
This is hilarious. We never headlines calling it like it is in Ireland mindless yobs, that is quality http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/16198426.Mindless_yobs_smash_windows_of_new_office_building_development/?ref=mr&lp=1

Don't think he did much else this season. Lenihan and Williams got called into the Ireland squad with us in League 1, I don't think Byrne was anywhere near it and being honest, we are pretty stuck at the moment
-
Why is he without a club with the CV he has? Massive alarm bells. Fit and all well mentally, then yes, he would be great if the wages were doeable, but I don't think it is that straight forward with this guy
-
Armstrong and Payne are on loan from Premier league clubs
-
Hopefully the purse strings are lubricated at least I only just realized that guy is Gus Poyets son
-
Unearthing a nugget like that would make a huge difference in the Championship. Weren't we linked with John Bostock last summer? I see he signed with a club in Turkey though. 1 "X factor" signing would be worth the risk I reckon
-
No way on Ireland and Adam. I don't know about Adam, but Ireland isn't the type of personality Tony would want in the squad. We need young, hungry players. We have enough experience in Mulgrew, Whittingham and Graham. Smallwood, Lenihan, Bennett and Downing have been around also.

Mulgrew

The thing with Williams and Evans is both are arguably coming into their prime. Williams is only 25 and Evans 27. I would be tempted to keep both as squad players. I would be signing a centre midfielder to start ,but we could do a lot worse than having Evans in the squad. I actually suspect we will get a few bids for Williams. He is a funny player, can do some things really well and other times I look at him playing and wonder how he made it as a professional. Maybe me being keen on keeping Evans is due to the fact i think that there is little chance of us off loading him so am just resigned to the fact he will be here next season. Both should not be starting next season though. I would be in agreement on Samuel, it will be interesting to see if Mowbray agrees. He couldn't be accused of not giving him a chance anyway.
