With all the overseas targets McLoughlin seems like a sensible recruit. Experienced at this level and regularly carries the armband for Hull.

Agree with others that it’s strange they are happy to let him leave in their current predicament. Unless they are cash strapped and need money to pay transfer instalments/ salaries

I can't see a club letting that happen.

Selling players, just to pay the costs of running the club, surely not.

I've copied and pasted it on LET comments section ( Bradley Dack part 2) so it gets out there and seen by others who may never see it and still think everything is fine and dandy at Ewood.

Anything that gets people to do some critical thinking can only be a good thing, as we need to question some of the ostriches on their.

Be interesting to see the replies but not holding my breath for anything positive.

    That's good thinking.

I have shared it a few times too, so hopefully the word is spreading further.

I'll take your word for it but I struggle to get my head round the concept that anyone could possibly come over worse than Waggott.

Always came over like a dodgy second hand car salesman and all you ever seemed to get out of him at the meetings was either a reason why something couldn't be done or "We weren't aware of that" or "We'll look into it".

I think that's why K- Hod said what he did about it not being high praise.

I think Pasha is as bad as it gets, with no clue on how to run a football club, no concept of how the cost cutting impacts on the chances of the team and is also frightened to death of confrontation

Waggott was all you describe and probably a bit more, but Pasha is a whole lot worse and a whole lot more devious and damaging.

OK, fair enough in that respect - I know you have a better knowledge of all this than I do, but declaring shareholder loans rather than equity investment is really just for the tax advantages I would guess?. In reality I don't think the owners are expecting this money back or treating it as a debt. It's just money that was needed for running costs.. The club has no loan repayment plans as far as I know.

Directors A & B form Limited Company C and as a result of the company needing capital to commence trading and the directors having the capital in their own names, they lend the company £100k. This is then shown as a creditor in the accounts.

The company begins to trade and after 5 years, builds up some capital in the business and has £50k in the bank. This can then be used to repay the directors who can then receive the money free of any tax liability, as it is the return by the company of part of the loan, they made.

The accounts will then show the £100k reduced to £50k to be repaid at a later date when the company has the funds and the directors decide to repay it.

I have just sat down at my screen to start writing the minutes up. I would hope to have them done inside 24 hours and they will then be passed to the club. How long that takes can be very variable depending on when everyone is oil and can get chance to review them. Then I like to give Forum members 24 hours to review them before they go up on the club website in case I have misrepresented anything.

Ishmael was not there. in fact in all the years I have been on the Forum there has only ever been one manager who has attended - Gary Bowyer. In fact, in John Williams' day, any discussion of team matters was banned.

The minutes are not sent to the EFL. They are of course published on the club website so are freely available for anyone to read.

Unlikely I know, but what about an unofficial/ unapproved version with a caveat to say, these need to be ratified and agreed by all concerned and therefore cannot be guaranteed as accurate for the time being.

At least that way, we see what is presented to the club and the final edited version.

If you don't ask, you don't get, so I am asking.

  6. From what little I know, I suspect that Pasha is very rattled that some things are getting back to the owners, that he has been trying his best to hide.

He is aware that Glen does have access to them and that will bug him no end.

Be loud be proud, we want Pasha out, either verbally or visually, as he will be trying his best to give an image that all is well, but he is slowly being found out.

They're just trying to run us like a normal trading entity instead of a football club. Guarantee they don't believe there's any difference in quality between players, just sell one for more than the next you buy. They'd put a chicken in goal if they could get away with it.

The chicken in goal, isn't a bad idea actually. we could also use one as a winger too and if we get to the semi final of the league cup, we could draft a couple more in for the second leg.

They would help with our survival bid, as we could be saved by the skin of our teeth, as points, could be rarer than hens teeth, this season

Keep me abreast of developments, as we have no money so the next signing, should be chicken feed and maybe we will get them by the bucket load.

    Tasty stuff all this.

Can't give an exact timeframe on the release of the minutes, but hopefully, it's sooner, rather than later.

No need for anyone to regard themselves as peasants for not having the information immediately and certainly no need to have any concerns about them being edited.

In all fairness too, the meeting was nearly 2 hours long last night, so any minutes won't include it verbatim......

In any event, if I don't feel the minutes included something vital, either myself, or one of the other posters on here in attendance, would share that with the forum.

    Very good that.

I note that Suhail was there, did VI come, by any chance?

Given that the minutes will be submitted to the EFL they will have to accurately reflect what was said.

Did the club, try to keep anything off the record?

Never been a Lowe fan and seems Eustace sought to isolate him.  However, for Rovers not to even confirm this departure is poor.  One does wonder if this is litigious.

I did hear that Lowe, had a weekly report on the happenings and the club, sent to India. I also heard, he was once sacked and reinstated, due to this.

Not exactly, but they both did the honourable thing and walked when the situation became untenable for them.

If VI does the same at some point I'll have a similar level of respect. If he doesn't and just puts up with whatever **** they throw at him as we decline, I won't.

I did suspect that V was going to be a yes man, but I’m not too sure now.

I agree with what you have said and do think he will do one, if things go pear shaped, due to them not backing him.

Maybe not the same scenario but there are shades of the Anderson/Kean manoeuvres here again over the last 18 months with such a turnover of staff seemingly forced or encouraged on purpose.

When they potted Allardyce the established players went mad and he pacified them by handing out one year extensions then before those extensions kicked in they manipulated them towards the exit door grabbing what they could for some along the way.

The aim .. reduce the wage bill for the owners and bring in some money for the black hole coupled with their commission to get rid and bring in cheaper.

There is definitely a forced turnover happening again here even in the backroom staff etc and the aim is the same, reduce wages, grab money, bring in cheaper all across the board.

Who is on commission this time though.

Not a lot has changed in 15 years. Same  people in the background driving the agenda.
