  1. Reading all this opens up a lot of old wounds. It is a bit like reading about your marriage falling apart, several years after the final split. The thing is with Kean, he took away all the equity in the house and his reputation, in certain parts, is still intact. Every now and then, we see an article in the press about how well he did and how none of it was his fault and on top of that he is a millionaire.

  2. Mowbray has been a breath of fresh air. His record isn't bad either. Given he inherited a squad and had no transfer window, I actually think he performed a minor miracle. I am pretty devastated at the minute and find it hard to see the wood for the trees. Deep down I hope we keep him and give him a chance to bring us back. He has performed, despite Venky's, not because of them helping him to.

Appointing Coyle was suicidal. A blind man on a galloping horse could see that. Give him a chance ? He'd had his chances at Bolton, Wigan and whatever club he managed in the US !

As usual, the fans were not told the truth about this strange  and ultimately devastating appointment. This type of thing, will not change whilst Venkys are here and it has come to the critical point now in my view. We either get rid of them somehow, or I fear we will no longer have a club.

The rule needs removing then as it's pointless if there is no incentive. Deliberately not competing in a match is fundamentally the worst crime in football. Resting up to four or five players can be said to be entirely reasonable in these days of 7 subs. Making 10 changes means starting players who weren't even worthy of a place on the bench the previous week.

If they miss out on millions then they can hold Wagner entirely responsible. A season is 46 games long but the difference between success and failure is moments like this. I hope he gets his comeuppance with a poor but decisive decision against him in their play-off matches.

I pointed out yesterday that a Birmingham home win, was a sure bet and even when the had one sent off, it was still the same. They started the match at 6/4 despite the 10 changes from Huddersfield. After the sending off, they were 11/4 which was unbelievable. I hope plenty took my tip and at least made a few quid out of it.

All Rover Asia, I hope you did.

Can't complain really, though it is irksome on the back of Redknapp's comments.  With a bit of karma, hopefully the same happens to them someday.

That Karma may well come next weekend with a Rovers win and a Brum Draw. How sweet would that be?

No India, wonder if the on paper owners will still get a live stream for their big relegation celebration party (free food! a head pops up in Ribchester)

Don't take the car if you are going there. The place has a reputation for people having their drinks spiked.

Done the predictions with a 'can-do' attitude. 6 points. Chill out, relax, have a Lambrini, I've got colleagues at Villa, license to print money, etc etc

    We are staying up!

I went on that link that the local paper is worse than ours. It says we are at home to Huddersfield on Saturday!

  8. We have to win come what may on Saturday. The QPR V Forest game will have a baring on our prospects, but if we win, it will go down to the last game no matter what. If Birmingham win, we will be two adrift of them with a win ourselves. If Forest draw or lose, then we have a chance of overhauling them with another win on the last day. If Forest win, we have a chance of overhauling QPR on the last day.

For those thinking Huddersfield with play a weakened team and therefore Birmingham are going to win, they are 7/4 at the minute. If punters get hold of this and lump on, the odds will drop.

    Actually, they don't really.

Their position under Rowett was false and couldn't have been sustained, they were only ever well organised, defensive and difficult to play against.

Zola removed all that and they are currently on a run on 2 wins in 24 games.

Yesterday they were better organised than they have been and probably a little more confident but still lacked any real quality.

We live in hope and that hope is a touch more optimistic, knowing we will have both sets of supporters hoping we get a Rovers win. The team will have it all to do, as the Villa players are professional and will be there to win the game.

Already read it and fairly clued up on Mr Anderson etc...

I used to come on here a lot when we were both in the PL.

I agree it shouldn't but it will, the FA does nothing to protect clubs for the fans. I predict problems at Wolves in the future....

Just looked at our pre-match thread, looks like as I suspected a lot will be hoping you prevail.

    Cheers Mate.

I just can't see anyone being held accountable and its all too late for us.

Best of luck to those involved anyway and I will be following the meetings.

Just as a matter of Interest, do you think they should give up with this, it or pursue it? Also have you ever got involved in anything to try to highlight the clubs plight?

    Thanks

It's 30 mins with the sports MP, but it's now an opportunity to look to create a relationship with these types, all of whom will upon hopefully of this meeting start giving BRFC the attention and scrutiny it's been missing. I will speak from experience that these people are very busy, not aware of the ins and outs of the situation at hand but hopefully this is a springboard to go forwards with.

It is a massive feather in the cap of the Trust and one that should be respected. My comments above speak for themselves and I think everyone on this board, with Rovers best interests at heart, should send a massive well done to them.

Well done in getting some time with the Sports Minister. I think any opportunity to air our plight should be taken and I hope she realises the damage that has been caused not just to our club. We have to keep chipping away and hopefully the longer game will be somebody in power actually takes some action to prevent this type of owner ever being able to buy a football club ever again.

It fills me with pride to see a post like that above from Michael Doherty, the same sort of pride I used to get that sort of pride, from following the team. With people like that, now in place at the trust, we do have a chance. I know for a fact that a copy of a letter has been sent to Tracy Crouch recently. That letter was sent to David Newton, the head of integrity, at the FA. In it are some very serious allegations about the take over and running of our club. I am sure this will be brought up at the meeting and if this alone can be acted upon and brought to the attention of the general public, then the meeting is worthwhile.

Good luck with it guys, you are a credit to your fellow supporters.

No that's true I haven't and given Small Heath's 'form' I've wondered how you've not caught them as it seemed a few weeks ago you were finding some form.

I do though think you've the perfect opportunity against us and one win really could be enough.

Sad to see the general feeling seems to be that relegation is inevitable and your players by the sound of it don't much care. Even more sad to see the terrible owners have seemingly divided the fans.

Have a quick read of the one man destroyed our club thread and you will see in a nutshell, why the fans see the relegation as inevitable. Without wanting to sound rude, fans at other clubs, don't have a clue what has really gone on at our club. Spread this amongst your fellow Villa fans, as this should not be allowed to happen and could still happen to another club at any time.

Do you think you could sell out the Blackburn End as well ?

If I suggest it to our FD with an email tomorrow he will put it into action.

We are on the verge of administration and desperate for cash... any cash.

Our lot (few) will all be sat down clapping so it would do them the world of good to get shifted for the greater good.

PS They are only a tenner each too.

We will fill it (we have just about every away end this season), we will be in fancy dress and likely cheering you on. Oh and I have a Venky banner already....

Excellent, fair play to you and I am sure plenty on here and in the ground on Saturday will applaud you for it. Thanks for the Venky's out banner, anything highlighting that will be really appreciated.

Well part 1 of keep Blackburn up send Small Heath down went to plan...

Now make sure you do your part when we come to Ewood, plenty in the away end will be more than happy to see you get 3 points.

    Our season ended today.

Best of luck, most Villa fans I know want you to stop up even more so with Blues thing.

Fill that end, get your Venky's out banners together and roar us to Victory. If you can give us the 3 points and Brum lose, we will love Villa forever.

Unfortunately Mike just did a software upgrade on his phone which has automatically sorted his contacts by last name.

As a result, he seems to have lost the number for "Suhail"

Should it not come under P or could that be S or maybe some other alias? I might need to call my office later today, to check the surname of my boss, as I don't know it. Come to think of it, I don't know his job title either. I must be losing the plot or covering something up!
