Has the court date been put back?

As far as I know it's still on the 12th, with the fans forum date originally due to be the 11th. So i'm glad to see we've requested it to be held after the current High Court date as it was something I was going to post this evening.

This team has some serious problems. Play attractive possession football, concende 3 goals a game. Play hard man percentage football, concede 2 goals in 45mins.

Also sad that we seem to have replayed our more technically gifted academy players for older journeymen bruisers. Only seen 45 mins of this new era so maybe I'm being a little harsh.

That's my biggest issue so far, no matter how we play, we concede.

The players need to take some responsibility.

In a way, they're the ones who've come off worse in this fan, Waggott, player meeting if as mentioned, the vast majority of players lost confidence in JDT.

We will receive the Raya money which I hope we use to buy a couple of players with it plus maybe more depends on sales

We've just seen them bring in £20+ mil and as you rightly say the Raya money will come.

We should be buying more than a couple of players before we sell anyone else, we were well short prior to Wharton leaving and anyone we've picked up since are on short contracts or go back to other clubs.

I thought we were better defensive from open play. Marc Roberts had 2 great chances from set pieces. Tyler Roberts had a great 2 chance, one in the first half from open play and another one from Pears mistake. Dembele missed a chance but wasn't even on target

    So they could've and should've scored 5.

But we were better defensively than how JDT set us up?

Its interesting that the new manager frenzy is in full swing on the JDT thread, yet anyone who is capable of seeing the bigger picture should be on here trying to bring about a change of regime.

Tells you all you need to know I guess....

Yeah I have to be honest, it's all gone rather quiet on the protest front. I don't know if that's a good or bad signal.

  6. I don't know much about Eustace or his playing style or anything really, apart from his playing days.

My biggest issue is the club were trying to setup an identity of playing as little as 2 years ago, something that would be instilled in the clubs DNA from the youngest age groups in the academy.

Is this an appointment just to save us from relegation or will he carry on the intended blueprint?

  7. I have a few questions that i'd hope the Trust would look to ask during their next meeting. It's a changing landscape at the moment, so some of these may be obsolete by the time the next meeting with the club comes round.

    1. There is no clarity at the moment if GB remains in situ. What is his employment status with the football club?

    2. (Dependent on if GB has left and hasn't been replaced) The club have continuously flip flopped between having a DoF/Sporting Director and going with a traditional 'Manager' approach since the Raos took over the club.

    1. Are the club planning to replace GB with another DoF/Sporting Director?
    2. For the sake of longevity and to provide an opportunity for succeeding, would it not be wise to advise the owners to keep a particular footballing structure in place for longer than they historically have?

    3. (Also dependent on if GB has left and hasn't been replaced) - Which individual (or individuals) made the choice to hire the new manager/head coach?

    4. (Also dependent on if GB has left and hasn't been replaced) - Who does the manager/head coach now directly report to?

I can't recall tbh, I know I did say he was focusing very much on Maguire and not the wider picture. Just my opinion of course, but we have much wider issues than not signing a player on loan. The more we put Mcquire fiasco in lights the more we dilute the wider and bigger issues at the club. The frustration was there long before we stuck this cherry on top

I agree and also agree with your sentiment that ultimately he is accountable.

Was more intrigued to see if he had held his hands up or was one of these people that has trouble accepting they're culpable (I sense the latter without ever having met him).
