Sam allardyce is statistically England's finest manager if you look at a certain way. Sterling is not a good striker. Is that so hard for you people to understand? That was the premise of JAL's message when he said Kane should be a super sub and suggested Sterling should start up front ahead of him.

I don't buy the Sterling hype, or Delli Alli. On their day they are great, but they can also flatter to decive. Especially when they play for England.

Lingard Alli Sterling all need to show they can do it for England. If them 3 are on song in Russia we might actually get out the groups ;)

If it means more money for TM to improve the quality of the squad then I would have it tattooed on my chest.

Hope you're joking mate  don't think any rovers fan would buy a shirt with Venkys as sponsor. I certainly wouldn't, plus we need all the cash we can get. Putting them on front of our shirts would take away any sponsorship cash from another firm. Surely Facebook or some other billion dollar company fancies sponsoring the Rovers ?

There must be a reason Otzumer has never played above L1 level at age 26? Not saying he can't make the step up but there's a lot of hype on here for someone who's never even played at championship level...

Very technically gifted and for me if utilised properly behind the striker in a number 10 role he'd be more than good enough to play at championship level. Saying that, we've got Dack so would Oztumer want to come and play second fiddle? Probably not.

He's too slow for International football plus his team can't do anythng in the premier league.

His team can't do anything in the Prem yet he's scored 25+ goals for the last what, 3 years for them? The only striker we have who even comes close to Kane is Vardy. Would love to see both start but as an impact sub Vardy is a good option. You talk some shite you mate. Big wind up merchant and I bite everytime!

A little harsh, he should be playing in the football league but an average L1 midfielder at best imo. The wages he has received over the years are astonishing for the return that we got from him.

I think you're way too kind calling him an average league one midfielder. He offers nothing to any team.

    They're shyte twaddle !

Its to be the fool that buys the ticket believing the shyte Sharp & co write.

    We are the Rovers !

You didn't attend any games last season did you JAL? If that's a boycott then fair play too you mate but to have such a strong opinion on players you've never seen in the flesh is strange. And nyambe "shyte"? Your obsession with the lad is way too much, I bet you've got posters all over your bedroom of him  he's a young lad who's got big potential and has shown enough to be given a chance to progress again next season. Bennett more than good enough to fill in at right back if nyambe flops.

I aint interested about your new staff you recruited. You dont work in Football.

I wont be disappoint as Dack going anyway.

    Who buying him tho?

You kept selling Rhodes all the time and it never happened until Lambert came in.

Sessegon wont be going anywhere. 100 million pounds is what Fulham quote Man Utd according to the Sun.

    Fulham wont be buying Dack.

Chaddy I think you believe what the papers say way too much mate, just because something is online or in some form of media it doesn't mean it's true. I tried to put that as unpatronising as possible but not sure I managed it  If someone offered 30 million plus for Sessegnon he would be gone, especially if Fulham don't get promoted. You really think they'd be asking for 100 million?! Come on Chaddy man don't be silly!

  8. As good as this season was, lets not forget that the club is in a ton of debt, whether it's owed to the Venkys themselves or the bank of India, whatever. Our finances arent in a good way and that's nothing new, we spent a bit last summer but compared to championship sides we spent peanuts. Are we going to see a dramatic increase? Highly doubtful, regardless of how TM's meeting goes in India. Be happy enough with a couple of million spent and a few loans and frees, that's a realistic expectation. The seasons only just finished so let's give it a month or two before meltdown mode starts on here  Its going to be many years before we are stable financially and their could be many a transfer embargo until these loons go, we all know that ourselves without TM saying anything.

Chaddy has obviously seen something in the games that’s he’s watched during that 1 win in 14 for that has convinced him Lambert can sort them out.

Fair enough, not sure their fans agree like...

If you're starting Premier league games with Crouch and Diouf up top you're not winning many games. The core of that side is an aging one as well, interested too see how they get on with Lambert in the championship next season, that's if he keeps his job!

The logical conclusion to your way f thinking is..

What's the point of having a football team at all?

    Owners are losing money.

    The whole ground is empty.

The BBE has found its voice when we started becoming successful but for the most part the atmosphere is dead.

    Close Ewood.

    Pal

Yeah that's exactly it mate close the lot and get Chaddy back on them Tuesday night night shifts :P

Not true. Are you a politician?

Come on lads. Don't get me wrong it was a sight to behold seeing the Blackburn End and Darwen end both full of Rovers yesterday. When home fans were first put in there a few years ago now it was good as we had an atmosphere from both sides but over time it's as if the DE has gradually emptied and I think it's got to the point now where it's time to close it. Maybe look into reopening it again in the future but for now it's for the best to close it. Not sure why people are kicking up such a fuss over it. Bigger things to worry about than that

Very disappointing to see that the DE is finished for home fans.

I've thought on this for a few hours since I heard the news and it really feels like an end to me buying a Season Ticket

When you add that to the ridiculous increase in prices, it's  like the idiots who are now running the club could care less about the fan base.

It's about time the DE was shut for home fans. There's been literally about 50 people in their for the last two seasons, pointless having it open really.

has as poyet played recently? would he be good enough for us?

we have already got our x factor signing in Dack. Maybe look at Oztumer or Payne has back up.m

I would be expecting Armstrong to be 1 of these loan player.

    3 players not good enough

no thanks. when was the last time he had a club?

Didn't Warnock say after not getting the job that he agree that one or 2 players would be sold to dealt with the finances issue? but he would get to spend couple of millions tho?

I think Mowbray going to India is a very good thing and I would expect him to get a decent budget. something like 5 or 6 millions pounds plus wages for 6 or 7 new players. I wouldn't be expecting 20 million pounds budget as I don't see that happening. I would be expecting 4/5 permanent signings and 2 loans signings

You wouldn't expect a 20 million pound budget? No sheeet  I think the 5 or 6 million you mention there is way too much as well. There's no way on earth we'll be spending 5 or 6 million this summer unless we sell Dack which I hope we don't and don't think we will. I'm expecting 3 cash buys for no more than a couple of million then a couple loans and frees. We'll see though.

You'd have thought that the " owners " would have turned up for the Oxford game and combined that with discussions regarding next season. If they've not been enthused by our promotion enough to come over when will they get enthused ?

I don't think think we'll ever see our owners at Ewood again, and that's a good thing.

There's a tune? And which is the chorus? Banger must have meant some 'ert different when I were t'lad. Stock Aitken and Waterman did better shizzle than that up Peps in the late 80's.

Hahaha when I say chorus I mean the beat that comes in half way through. Listen I love my 80s more than most but this is also a BANGER
