Coincidence in the only game which Mokoena hasn't played in for a while we concede five?
I think not. Mokoena is perfect for away game that's why I find it odd the Hughes played Mokoena in our recent home games and then chooses to drop him against Wigan.
People go on about his pasisng, but it as vastly improved. Apart from the poor half he had against West Ham he's been in good form and his passing as been coming along nicely.

Saw Manchesters best kept secret I am Kloot in Manchester last night. Great gig where they played a good mix of old and new songs.
Got the new album and there are some soon to be Kloot classics on it. How this band are not 100 times bigger i'll never know
I'd never heard of them until i saw your mention, checked them out and they are rather brilliant, thanks.

And Venables thought...
There is supposed to be a picture here of Venables looking like "what the **** was that?" as Beckham is substituted.
What this one

Quite ironic the biggest home crowd in years see our first goaless game in ages.
But yeah it was nice to see Ewood full with a good atmoshphere.
-
Babyshambles - Shotter's Nation.
Brilliant album, doubt you'll hear anything better this year.

He had about 5 touches today and three of thoose times he was offside. Seemed to be carrying an injury though either that or he wasn't fully fit.

Right Jan, that was a complete waste of time.
My issue with you is that you have very clearly insinuated that some members of this board have racially tarred Dwight Yorke, Andy Cole, Jason Roberts, Shabani Nonda and Benni McCarthy with the lazy tag. That is complete and utter b******s and myself and others are offended that you have accused us of this.
There was no need to quote the above. I can remember the 'lazy' accusations myself, particularly with Yorke and Cole (I think I even contributed to the Cole-bashing). However, to say this was based on the colour of his skin is unforgiveable. I demand an apology.
I 100% agree with you there.
None of the messages you have quoted are in anyway racially they are merely commenting on the players. MGP as come in for as much stick as any of the players you've mentioned, but because he's not black I guess that doesn't count.
It's political correctness gone crazy.

Doesn't seem seven years ago since that game against Norwich. That was definately one of the most memorable games I've been to.
I'm sure he's still watching down on the Rovers and he'd be delighted with the current squad we've got i'm sure.
There's Only One Jack Walker!

There are a lot of samey indie bands around at the mo, such as The Cribs, The View, Pidgeon Detectives and so on. They all merge into one for me.
I can possibly see how you get The Cribs and The Pigeon Detectives mixed up. The Cribs have more heavy guitar sounds though. The View, well there the ones you can't even make out what they are saying, they're okay nothin special though.
The Cribs are awesome though and The Pigeon Detectives album is decent as well.

Just reread the first post in this thread, finding The Strokes "Is this it" amongst the top 50 albums ever ?
What's next, Linkin Park?
And yes, I am bored to death.
How can you possibly mention Linkin Park in the same sentence as The Strokes.
'Is This It' is a superb album.

Or just imagine a rip-off of Interpol.
Maybe that's a little harsh on Editors. But I can see where you are coming from, they do sound-a-like.
-
The Rakes - Ten New Messages.
Good, good album

Strange little non-story this one
Who told the BBC the nonsense then ? and why ?
I know. I'm wondering when they are going to take the story down from their site.
EDIT: They have actually changed it slightly now.

Not Impressed
Maybe he got his dates mixed up.

Sunnyhurst Hey Resevoir on the edge of Darwen Moors is very high now and getting fuller by the day. A significant amount of water from this resevoir is pumped to top up Fishmoor Res in Blackburn, but despite this and the time of year, the water level is virtually what it normally is in winter. Nearby Earnsdale Resevoir (Dean Lodge to most of us) is also as full as I've ever seen it in mid summer with water running out via the overflow system.
Whoever put together the sewerage/drainage systems in Darwen did a sterling job. With moorland on three sides of the town and water everywhere running down towards the town centre you would have thought that it would be flooded on a fairly regular basis but I have never known this to happen.
If it floods now i'm blaming you.
Plenty of more rain today sadly.

So much for Global Warming, wettest June ever!

Think I may take a print out of this thread with me on Pre-Season and show it to him (if he is still with us). Might tell him to 'f off' at the same time.
I like your thinkin'

From the article we see that Benni is very careful in his use of words. Reading between the lines I think he is desperate for a move to Chelsea. I'm afraid this is just the start of something that might turn very ugly....
One more thing, the way he calls West Ham a great team in the Premier League and with great history...
Nice to see he's got the same sense of humour as Mr.Neill

The new White Stripes album is gooooooood!
-
This week I have mostly been listening to The Twang. Quite good but think I may get bored of them quickly - hope I am wrong though
The singers voice does sound very dull & boring after you've listened to a few songs by them in my opinion. I always get mixed up with them and The Enemy. I however don't mind The Enemy they are okay.

The Pigeon Detectives debut album is rather brilliant.

Westham fans slagging off Bentley :
http://www.westhamonline.net/forum_flat.php?1707177||1||
probably the most Brutal I've seen on any message board today. Typical hammers fans, always think their in the right
Quite amusing how people can be so simple minded.

So where is Bentley right now? With the full squad, or the U21s?
If it's the latter, I hope Hughes pulls him from the squad and gives him a well deserved rest - it's going to be another long season and we'll need a healthy Bentley.
He's joining up with the U21s for the European Championship.
Maximum of five games, should England get to the final.
