Both Rothwell and Lenihan may be back for tomorrows game. Nyambe will miss out.

Johnson takes a place in the squad.

    Kaminski

    Carter, Lenihan, Ayala, Pickering

    Travis, Rothwell

    Dolan, Buckley, Brereton

    Gallagher

This team should do enough. If Lenihan don't make it maybe Johnson can disputise.

Like it but not keen on Johnson starting as he wont be match fit. When he came back in last season took him a couple of games to get to what's needed.

This is one of those games where everything aligns - in decent form, local game we expect to win, 3pm Kick-off, early on in the season so optimism hasn't been eaten away, potentially decent weather. It's almost the perfect away day.

Based on the number of people I know that are going or wanted to go we'd have shifted well over double our original allocation.

Think capacity at Blackpool is 19k and their home fans up to 10k so on paper loads of room. But it depends on how they've separated away and if there's space in that area.

Fortunately got mind last night after seeing chaddys post.

John Challis has died, he played Boycie in Only Fools and Horses, one the best British comedy’s ever.

    RIP

Without a doubt Only Fools and Horses the best in TV comedy. Only last night I enjoyed a laugh, even though I'd seen it over and over again.

    RIP John.

Come Tuesday and Ewood could see it's lowest league game home crowd since the stadium was redeveloped some 27 years ago.

A slow, engineered decline and these b'stards are all in on it.

    You're right SG.

Reminds me of decades ago. We played Exeter City at home with a gate of around 3,000. Much later, at the time when we were top of the premiership with over 30,000 at Ewood, Man City fans taunted us with the "where were you when you were .......".

Completely different circumstances but we remain BRFC.

  5. Mowbray's using this "togetherness" as a way forward. Instead of blasting individuals for mistakes and lack of abilities he puts his arm around individuals with the "you did your best" attitude , expecting next time out he'll get better performances. Compare this approach with what I just seen from Chelsea's Thomas Tuchel. Different league yes but Mowbray's closeness to players wont mean he'll gain respect on the pitch.
