OMG!!!!!

Did he think it was going over?

Replacing the manager is just wishful thinking. For all this discussion TM is staying. No one can challenge him due to the set up at the club, everybody knows this.

I don't think Travis was fit to be honest.
Agree. The way he took that ball you almost thought the game had been stopped.

A competent club would take this as an opportunity to jettison the current lame duck manager and get in a replacement for the final few games of the season, bed him in with the current squad and give him a chance to experiment in the last few competitive games before the summer.
Unfortunaely we have Waggott and Venky's, so, as you were.
The truth hurts.

Cardiff just scored a cracking goal to to 1-0 up
8 points as it stands - it was 1 just a week ago
And if we had won our last too it would have been 2 - Mowbray please leave.

Are they even in training let alone being match fit?
We should be getting a new manager in to assess this squad ready for next season.
It really doesn’t feel like there is anything to be positive about right now. We are just watching an ‘almost season’ peter out.
Anyone got any positives? Dack coming back and unlikely to leave this Summer? Our transfer business could be hanging on to Travis and Lenihan at this rate? So much to do with this squad after four Championship windows.
Next season not too far away. More and more seeing TM not the man to take us forward so this story more than likely will reach Venkys soon.

At least we can blame the ref. Poor is understatement.

this is just the kind of fixture where we do really well, therefore giving us all hope,we`ll most likely get something today and vs west brom, then lose against luton, reading and millwall
Any small chance we did have we blew against Wigan and Barnsley. Thankfully next season isn't that far away.
That said hope to see a good performance by all.

Will we appeal against the red card?

I forgot this was an early kick off and just logged on for an update.
Why did I bother? The past 2 games have been so,so, so predictable.
I'm sure Tony's being paid by someone to do this.... in addition to his Rovers salary.
Wish I'd forgot.

It's a results business.
I'm not interested in TMs post match comments. If you can't get a result playing bottom of the league you're not worth listening to.

Looking back we may have had +70% but we failed to put the ball in the net. TM walked off alone at Barnsley, head down.
-
Dream result for Barnsley and you could honestly say the ref got it wrong.
-
Season truely finished. Mowbray please walk.

Drinks - getting better but we need to hold ball up front and bring others into game

...........Incidentally, I’m sure I saw on TV, in the last 10 mins I think, Mowbray in a shot in the background on the bench with hands on head, rather like one of those chimps in the old tea advert as they move the piano (tea Mr Shifter?)
Great motivation for the team then with ten minutes to go!
-
Just read TM comments
"....when the ball flashes across the box, Gallagher at the back post with a header, they have to go in. If they do then you could win 1 0....".
I realise its been a long season but how many times has Gallagher scored! He (TM) plays him expecting to do something unusual like score a winner then puts out a statement that clears himself from blame. ?

Everyone was doing well enough before any subs, bar Gallagher and Bennett who were horrific. Folk on here pelting Rothwell and Holtby, I thought they were decent, and controlled the middle of the pitch.
Bring on the youngsters on Tuesday and let’s see what we’ve got.
Agree with your comment Fras. We had 11 players on the pitch but the confidence must have been low with other team players when they know a ball to Gallagher or Bennett will result in nothing. Not for the first time has this happened yet TM will play both again on Tuesday.

Bennett played one good cross but for the rest of the game he did nothing that deserves him being first choice on Tuesday.
But TM has already penciled him in the team.

with the attitude and demenour of our players, they will no doubt be thinking that the play offs are out of reach and we can soon go on holiday, ide bang every single on of them on the list apart from lenihan, travis and nyambe
Bit hard on a few players.

Never expected to get any at Wigan. Difficult to play against but lets be honest they have a good manager.

I missed first 10 minutes. I will give them benefit of doubt now, as first game with mass viewings, and hopefully it’s fine going forwards. Saying that, I do feel for the older generation who probably find technology more stressful and likely gave up when couldn’t log in at kick off, hope Rovers take care of them.
Its not that they didn't know the "vast viewing" numbers. They saw a profitable market and took advantage - dirty side of business IMO. EFL have apologised, not clubs fault, but ifollow have got away with it.
