I mostly say Blackburn the only Rovers when the conversation occasionally arises in Cornwall
Even team down M65 call us Rovers. They might fit another word in front but it's not Blackburn! ?

Not too much muscle / steel in that midfield. Where's Johnson?
Out through illness according to LT

Mowbray must have had wind about Mulgrew exercising his right to return. Another costly bench warmer because he wont start. Far too slow in this league and any suggestion to play him at full back is daft, we'd have no wing attack (I know we don't now!) and it would play right into the opposition's favour.
Can't see a way out of this as it reduces up any wages money available.

Anyone know if Rochdale's Rathbone is injured or suspended? Not in the squad tonight!
Wasn't in squad v Bolton last Saturday either.

As a Preston North End season ticket i thought the game was dull in large parts, the conditions may have been a good reason to do with that as it wasn't that long ago that these two played out a very entertaining game at Deepdale.
I thought the Blackburn lads played there hearts out and scrapped for everything and should more than likely have won.
Preston have been off form for a couple of months now and we have been hard to watch since Daniel Johnson got injured, i would suggest perhaps that both clubs suffer when our more creative players get injured as nowadays there are not a lot around. I think your right wanting more for your 12 million spend but at least your lot spent it!
Both teams lacked quality but the plus point was seeing Darwen End almost full. Took a walk round ground before going in and heard a pne fan say "....now this is a proper ground....".
Gallagher, Armstrong & Bennett always give that extra as they obey orders often playing out of position. Thought Evans & Nyambe injuries hindered our chances but show acting by Pearson does not belong in football with poor Championship referees who fail to do their job.

A performance full of spirit and effort but not enough quality. Players gave everything.
Armstrong's goal was good and exactly why he need to play up front. Shame he missed the second chance.
It was a game that I felt we would never lose imo.
Ref was abysmal and don't know how he missed a clear pen on Gallagher.
Felt sorry for Gallagher stuck out wide. Wasted.
Mowbray had to change to system second half when Graham as we were losing the midfield battle to 4-3-3
If we didn't had used 2 subs for injuries then I feel Rothwell and Champan could have been game changers for use.
I have no time for Ben Pearson who is nothing more than a cheat after his performance today
Pearson should have been booked for his unprofessional antics. After his second antic he was walking like he had glass in his boots. Then ball came near him and he sprinted at speed. Gallagher worked hard and won a few decent tackles..

Maybe an unpopular opinion but thought Bell did well today, some really good covering at the back
He had one of his better games. A bit more speed instead of getting ball lost between his feet and he could have caused problems.

Any lingering hopes of play off ended today. Poor performance by all. Evan Danny Graham looked rusty, kicking thin air at one point - lack of games??

Both broke?
If that's the case, he's out for 2 to 3 months.
Any transfer out of the question then.

To be far, when tickets went on sale both teams were doing nicely and all indications were that there would be decent crowd with Preston selling out their allocation. Clearly, given the form of both teams that isn’t likely so no risk of their fans buying tickets in home areas
Crowd safety is always high risk. There's no debate on this one.

Has Waggott never been to a local derby??
To be honest I can't believe police will allow that, Someone needs to over rule him.
This could be very serious for the club if anything bad happens.

Latest update on today's game. Waggott wants more walk ons. Please come after 12 because an extra £3 will be donated to the transfer kitty.
"Tickets will now also be available on the day and a database purchase history is no longer required."
Also, MGP will be in the Roverstore from 12:30. No ticket required.
Foolish decision by Waggott.

For me when need a solid experienced keeper, Joe Hart would be ideal, Adam Bogdan is on a free also.
We need to clone Gael Givet, tough Centre half who doesn’t look like a total plonker at left back.
A goalscorer, Hogan would be decent, is Jack Marriott getting a game at Derby?
Hart signing would be good but we all know that will not happen.
Whatever wages budget is made available has to be used in right areas and although a keeper is a priority we are still paying for Walton for the rest of this season. Any players moving on will (assume) free up budget money, so needs to be done quickly otherwise we will be left scraping the barrel. January window not ideal.

I like Tony, I think he's a good, decent man and am happy to see him continue as boss.
Think some people on here should just have a word with themselves and wonder if they're not just being a tad hasty in their calls to get rid.
I agree he seems to be a decent bloke but as a manager of Rovers what's he doing for you to be happy?

If we are, according to Waggott, "around the (FFP) threshold....very limited as to what could be done" it does suggest that there's a gap and maybe subject to possible changes a decent signing could happen. But the contradiction comes when Waggott adds "unable" to invest due to FFP rules.
