To play that formation would probably mean that either Joe Cole/Beckham or Lampard would have to be dropped and i cannot see that happening but Lennon does look a threat and is somewhat of an unknown quantity to other nations. Yes the prem goes out worldwide but not many teams would have been looking for him as a first choice threat.

I thinks its safe to say that Theo won't get used unless we are losing and need another striker on. Its obvious that Sven has realised he has made a mistake by bringing him to the WC, we'll end up playing 4-5-1/4-3-3 with the three upfront consisting of Lampard/Rooney/Gerrard. Leaving no place for Theo.

As for Owen i feel so bad for the man, he's only just recovered from his foot injury and now he's done his anterior cruciate ligament and maybe out until October/November/Xmas. He's had a lot of bad luck of late with injuries, hopefully these injuries aren't a sign of his body breaking down on him because it would be a great shame to the game to lose a player like Owen.

Well if Reidy has signed on what is stopping Neill from doing the same. i know he's in Germany but Pedders & Reid have both been linked with moves to Manure and Spurs respectively and they have signed on.

I must admit i have been knocking Reid as a person of late, saying he's a greedy #### but if he hasn't had a significant wage rise and signed on, fair play to him.

I've seen the highlights now of the match and if they didn't just show all the best Argentina bits but most of their play, i have to say that they are the best side in the tournament without a doubt.

They will probably go on to win it IMO if they can play like that each match.

To be fair, they have had to get the site up and running again and its not been the most important thing on their minds i bet.

Looks as though both Shevchenko and Rebrov are going to be fit to start, Spain could find themselves in a bit of trouble defensively if they play the more attacking formation the Spanish fans want them to play. But it looks pretty much nailed on that Arragones will play Albelda in the midfield and dissapoint many of panish fans by leaving Xabi Alonso and Jaoquin on the bench.
